This week we turn to the Gospel of Luke and look at the familiar parable of the "Prodigal Son" Join us as we seek to understand why the father of this parable told his eldest son why he believed that what he was doing was "Anything But a Waste of Time"

Anything But a Waste of Time - Luke 15:11-32

Luke 15 is a profound chapter in the Bible that encapsulates the essence of God's boundless grace and forgiveness through three compelling parables: the Lost Sheep, the Lost Coin, and the Prodigal Son. Each narrative beautifully illustrates God’s unwavering pursuit and joyous celebration over the return of what was lost. From the shepherd who leaves his flock to find one missing sheep to the woman who diligently searches for a single lost coin, and finally, the father who warmly embraces his wayward son upon his return, we see a reflection of divine mercy and redemption. These stories emphasize that no one is too far gone to be welcomed back into God’s grace.
