Captured at a beautifully curated modular event in Pittsburgh featuring live modular synth & Dj sets in tandem with live modular analog visuals & projection mapping in a movie theatre venue decked out with installation art. This event was the first of it's kind in the area & the air was thick with pure creative energy & open-minded experimentation.

Metaterrestrial  |  mĕt′ə-tə-rĕs′trē-əl  |  noun  

a portmanteau of "metaphysical" & "extraterrestrial" meaning something which originates outside the ordinary three-dimensional space-time framework in which we normally function.

Much like the name, Metaterrestrial uses live performance to take the listener on a sonic journey that defies geological borders & defined genres. Using spoken word, visual & auditory stimuli, MT seeks to drive forward a much larger concept—That there exists much more than we can perceive with our two eyes.

Soarer is an electronic musician based in Berlin. The style is melodious and glitchy synth-based electronic music.
