Not crazy obvious from the mechanized poked out drum machine beat and the title but this is a clear tribute to the film scores of brad fiedel, most notably terminator. The visuals, the sound the story of those first two films have haunted me all my life in the best ways possible. If only the message within could haunt the assholes that think all this A.I bullshit is a good idea...another influence on this track and how out there it is would be Neil young during his FUCK MY RECORD COMPANY era in the 80's. I did want a big (albeit noisy) rock sound reminiscent of Neil's tune Around the world (sans cool ass and equally weird synclavier solo). The drum part is pretty cool but admittedly rough as I played it live throughout the recording. I think I'll re-track the drums at the very least in the near future.
