Set to release on February 21st, 2025 via Mongrel Records, the album is an intricate tapestry of sound, philosophy, and storytelling—a psychedelic journey through the fragmented pieces of history and humanity.

The inspiration for Scatterling Empire is deeply rooted in the complexities of human history, particularly the devastation wrought by colonial conquest.

It is this and the creative process that we delve into here. We spoke to bassist Roelof Van Tonder and drummer Jethro Vlag, discussing the highs and lows of the album’s creation, the past few years, the future, and so much more.
