Andy Finn is a passionate House Music DJ with the inspiration from some of the greatest house masters in the world!

Starting out in the mid-nineties, Andy was captivated by the talent of DJ’s and artists such as Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez, Frankie Knuckles, Joey Negro, Marshall Jefferson and Danny Rampling to name a few with their early style of vocal house. It didn’t take long till he acquired his first set of decks to continue to spread the funky house music vibe through his mix tapes and cd mixes in this era.

A couple of years down the track and Andy got his break on the Edinburgh (Scotland) clubbing scene. Becoming a resident for local club night “Flaunt” meant he could play the music he loves…Funky Vocal House warming up for big names on the lineup such as Bob Sinclar, Jeff Jefferson, Freemasons, Jason Herd, ATFC, Seamus Haji, Graeme Park & Moto Blanco…Flaunt was one of the largest events in the countries capital that projected nothing but glamour.

Andy then flew into his own residency shortly after with another event called “Glitter & Twisted”. Playing with local radio talent every month including the massive London duo Soul Avengerz, it then led to a night with the master of things dance floor and credible…House Music Legend Joey Negro.

Now a permanent fixture in Australia, Andy continues to play the house music vibe in his much anticipated sets and aims to keep the feel good vibe very much going…. Since landing in Aus he picked up a residency for HedKandi Australia, delivered the Gold Coast’s Island of Sin Boat Party, held several residencies including Hotel Komune, The Star Casino, Roosevelt Lounge, The Island Rooftop + more. Andy owns & operates Guilty Pleasure Agency & continues to deliver only quality house music events including his side project Our House!

Andy has supported some of house music’s grade A superstars in the last few years including - Glitterbox Australia (Simon Dunmore, Melvo Baptist, Natasha Diggs), Defected Australia (Ferreck Dawn, Low Steppa, Sam Divine, Roberto Surace), David Penn, Mark Knight, Basement Jaxx, The Shapeshifters, Mousse T, Josh Butler, Weiss, Melé + Mr Doris all within the Australian house scene.

Boasting high, feel good energy, bumpy basslines, rolling percussion and infectious vocals in every track, Danny’s music is ready for the dancefloors and clubbers alike. With a Traxsource Tech House No. 1 under his belt collaborating with house legend vocalist Mr. V with the single ‘Damn Good’! With AAA artist support from the likes of David Guetta, Mark Knight, Kryder, TCTS and Gorgon City amongst continued radio support from BBC Introducing, KISS and Toolroom Radio. Welcoming Danny into the digital world of streaming Danny Rhys has so far been supported in some of the globes top playlists such as Spotify Housewerk, UK House Music, Operator, and Basement, as well as David Guetta’s playlist, Toolroom, Mark Knight’s Killer Cuts, Tiesto’s Musical Freedom, Spinnin Records, Armada Music, Elrow and Nicky Romero’s Protocol Radio. Danny’s monthly podcast ‘Straight From The Record Box’ showcasing the best in dance music is listed in the Top 10 Best UK Left Wing Podcasts of 2021 which is a huge honor to be recognised as a tastemaker in the scene. 

Notorious for his energetic performances using the full potential of what the decks can offer, Danny involves every floor groover with the emotion of fusing all sub-genres of House music! Having taken stage across Europe's most notable clubs and venues Danny has performed at the infamous Amnesia Ibiza, Kalypso (Elrow) Croatia, We Are Festival, Ministry of Sound, Egg LDN and that’s only to name a few. Having opened for Mark Knight, Tough Love, Leftwing : Kody, Seth Troxler, Danny has since joined the #ToolroomFamily performing at their London residencies at Ministry Of Sound & Studio 338 in which the label is predicting big things for Danny Rhys.
