I wrote this original song about the death of my father. I came across a poem by WH Auden called "Funeral Blues" and I thought it was beautiful. I adapted the poem so that it would work a little better as lyrics and I put the words in a slow meditative arrangement with a mandocello, piano and mandolin. To this day, it is hard for me to play this song because it evokes a lot of emotion.
