Old Skool Nu Skooled...Part 2

I co promote a new fresh and exciting trance brand called audio therapy based in Wigan with plans to guest all over the Uk, our launch was on 28/10/23 with the mighty Craig Connelly as our headline Dj, the reason for me wanting to start off a new trance brand is because I feel trance in the northwest is dwindling a little, the northwest has a host off local talent which we hope to include in our lineups, so anyone looking to get onto the big stage send me a Demo mix to pdfenna@gmail.com…..Iv been into trance and electronic dance music since 1997. I was going to places like cream , passion, gatecrasher godskitchen and golden most weekends , I quickly fell in love with the club scene and dance music. 1997 was the year I first went to Ibiza as well and it was love at first sight, I bought a pair off technic 1210’s and pioneer DJM600 mixer around the millennium, I’d say around that time my influences was Seb Fontaine, Paul Oakenfold, Judge Jules and Tall Paul… I build up a decent record collection and learnt the art to mix vinyl over the coming years.. 
In 2005 I sold by turntables and upgraded to pioneerCDJ 1000s MK2.. after Seb Fontaine finished his 2 year cream residency around the millennium time.. the likes off Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto and Armin Van Burren was getting big in the trance scene.. I started to take an interest in Paul Van Dyks sound, and to this day after 20 odd years he’s still 1 off my favourite DJs.. I had my CDJs till around 2011, but I rarely went on them so I sold them and funded my Ibiza holiday in 2012.. I kinda retired from clubbing not long after Ibiza, I stopped getting the buzz like I used to.. fast forward to 2017 after 5 years out the game I met a group off clubbers from my town who was into what I used to be into. I started going to a few gigs with them and quickly found the passion again, by this time digital DJing was the in thing so I bought a decent pioneer controller and started my DJing hobby again, Followed by me purchasing some more technics 1210 turntables around 2018 thankfully I kept my vinyl collection, it didn’t take me long to learn to DJ again, the hardest part was getting my head around the djing software and preparing playlists.. you’ll find on my page my latest mixes and vinyl mixes.. my style is mainly uplifting melodic trance, but from time to time you’ll come across progressive house mixes..thanks for reading and hope you enjoy my mixes

Dave plays his own brand of Progressive Tribal Circuit style House with nice Euphoric breakdowns and good quality vocals. He likes to play around with different styles in his sets to keep things fresh and interesting!

Dave is Euphoria Dublin's Resident DJ and has played for many of the top club nights in Dublin such as Profile, Paradiso, Coco Loko, Daddi, Love Sundays, Butch, Prison, Essex, Nowhere and Shock! On top of that he is no stranger to playing at the after partys in his home town of Dublin. He has also played in London and Manchester in the UK, Prague in Czech Republic, Lisbon/Porto/Algarve in Portugal, Xtra Party Florence in Italy, Replay Vienna, 961 Dubai, The Boardwalk in The Seychelles, L'Omega Club in Nice, XXO Party Bangkok, Fairytails Luxembourg, SLM Copenhagen and Therapy Clubbing in Cape Town and Johannesburg in South Africa. He has played at some of Brazils top nightclubs such as Bubu Lounge and Clube Carravagio in Sao Paulo, Josefine Nightclub Belo Horizonte, Florida After and Boate Baroneza in Rio De Janeiro. He has played at We Party Madrid and Lisbon's Everybody Together events in Dublin. His sets have also been played on Brazilian Radio Station, Radio Tributus and French Radio Station G One Radio.

Since Mladi started playing House music he has had the pleasure of DJing with DJ's such as Hector Fonseca, Dan Slater, Leomeo, Tommy Love, Enrico Meloni, Patrick Sandim, Rick Braile, Lapetina, Paulo Agulhari, Paulo Ciotti, Robix, Ana Paula, Bonomio and International House artist, Beth Sacks of DJ Aron Productions.

Dave's latest release "Dave Mladi - Ready To Fly" was released on DJ Hector Fonseca's record label Audio4Play Records as part of Audio4Some Volume 2 which reached number 53 in the top 100 Progressive House charts and number 93 in the House music charts on Beatport. It has received support from Tom Stephan among other top DJs on the scene.

His fourth single release "Dave Mladi Featuring Danielle Souza - Rebolado No Chão" was released in March 2017 on Queen House Music Records. It has received support from top DJs such as Micky Friedmann and Sharon O'Love.

Signed to DJ GSP's record label Queen House Music, Dave Mladi's third release "Stronger Than Cocaine" was released in June 2016. It has been featured on Queen Summer Breeze mix compilation compiled by DJ GSP.

His second release "Acapulco" was released in April 2016 on SKYE Energy Records. It has received support from DJs such as Tom Stephan, Erick Ibiza and Glaucio Duarte. It has been featured on two albums

Signed to Club Restricted Records, his first release "Utopia" was released in February 2016. It has been featured on seven mix compilations.

Dave has also produced a number of Madonna remixes which have been featured on Madonna Remix Projects. Dave's remix of Madonna's "What It Feels Like For A Girl" was a great success and it reached number 2 in the Hypeddit top 100 Progressive House charts for free downloads and his remix of Madonna's "Love Spent" got to number 28 in the Hypeddit top 100 Progressive House charts for free downloads.

He has also built a collection of innovative and unique mashups sampling mainstream artists and house legends which are getting support from DJ's all over the world such as Paulo Pacheco, Felipe Lira, Anne Louise, Julio Doutor, Sharon O'Love, Hugo Warllen, Erik Vilar, Hernan Maldonado, Carlos Brasil, Erick Ibiza, Karl Kay and DJ Deanne among others (Mashups removed from profile due to copyright reporting - Check new Mashup profile https://soundcloud.com/user-481112221).

Crystal Clouds is a non-profit project dedicated to supporting the trance & progressive music genres through various different channels. 

I have been DJ`ing for about 8 years now, i`m mainly in to Trance, but also like, Tech House, Progressive House & Techno. 

In my early days of DJ`ing i was in to the harder styles of music under my `Aftershoxx` alias. `I've played on some great lineups with the likes of, Shugz, David Rust, Scot Project, Paul Webster, Robbie Nelson, Argy, Lisa Lashes, Organ Donors, Anne Savage, Kutski, Dutch Master, Alex Kidd, Kidd Kaos, Tidy Boys, Andy Whitby, LED & Lee Haslam and hopefully many more to come :)

Hiddenagenda are the Sheffield based trance duo behind some of the most uplifting, euphoric, and powerful trance & progressive sets you will have heard in recent years!

They met in early 2005 and shortly after Hiddenagenda were born. Although relatively young, they both possessed a wealth of knowledge and talent, which only strengthened as the pair joined forces. Their individual styles benefit hugely from each other and their combined knowledge of tune selection, their immaculate mixing ability and their extensive experience of the clubbing scene makes them one of the strongest duos about.

Both keen clubbers from an early age, and part of Crashers loyal following, they have seen and learnt exactly how to get the most out of a crowd. Frequenting the countries dance floors over the years has armed them with experience and knowledge that allows them to create their own energetic and electric atmosphere every time.

They found musical inspiration originally from the likes of Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Matt Hardwick, Markus Schulz and Jon O’Bir to name a few, and over time have used this to create their own cutting-edge sound that continues to destroy the dance floors around the country. Their style is driven by big basslines and uplifting melodies with tech-influences, ranging from progressive warm-ups to their now legendary big room peak time sets. With a genuine enthusiasm for the music driving their performances and keeping the energy on the dance floor at a constant high, they will take you on a musical journey that will leave you gagging for more.  Having made their name at Gatecrasher's infamous Howard pre-parties back in 2005/06 and with multiple appearances for the Sheffield based trance night OTR (Off the Rails), this pair really exploded onto the scene becoming firm favourites with many clubbers and gaining a mass of followers around the North of England. On the back of this success OTR snapped up the duo as residents for their return to the scene in late 2009, a night they later went on to successfully run for many years.

The duo have had a string of high-profile gigs; the highlights being a competition win of a set at the prestigious Trance Awards hosted by Trackitdown at Ministry of Sound, numerous bookings for Nu-Passion, Passion’s UK Indoor Festival, Magna Phase II at the huge Magna arena, Gareth Emery’s very own Northern Lights Concert, 2 appearances on Goodgreef’s Ibiza Boat Party as well as Goodgreef UK bookings, multiple appearances at Leeds based Digital Society, the Garuda 3rd Anniversary and a number of bookings at Birmingham’s Godskitchen, most notably a main room debut at SixFiveTwelve.

After a brief hiatus the pair landed back with a bang in 2022 warming up the Trancecoda Paul van Dyk event at CODE in Sheffield, a gig which secured them an exciting new residency for the brand.

Coming armed with some of the most up-front tunes, some forgotten classics, and the ability to create an atmosphere like few others, be ready for a night to remember!

Tom started DJing at the young age of 11 back in 1997/98 and was influenced by the likes of Armin Van Buuren, & Judge Jules after listening to his shows on BBC Radio 1. 

He was particularly influenced by Jules’s  Saturday Night mix section of the show which focused on uplifting/tech trance.

In 2011 Tom launched Killswitch Radio which went on to go from strength to strength, rapidly building him a strong global audience with over 140 episodes which ran for over a decade.

Uplifting Tech trance and techno was at the forefront of the monthly 2 hour radio show, showcasing his exclusive live sets both from his home studio and at club events, alongside guest DJ appearances in the latter part of the show.


In 2023, 

Tom decided to rebranded Killswitch Radio by launching a brand new monthly radio show, called Infinity, which focuses on all sounds within trance.  To truly reflect his diverse taste and musically styles within the genre.. 

He also teamed up with US based Trance DJ,Producer Kate Kory [Tarvali] and launched new brand global Trance Brand,Platform called Hello Trance.

Which helps to promote, showcase all aspects in within the Trance scene via it’s website, www.hellotrance.com and with a global  bi - monthly podcast hosted by both Tom & Katie which also sometimes feature exclusive guest mix dj, trance artists and interviews..

His pure energy & passion for the trance has led him to bookings across the UK & Europe such as touring with ‘Hindsight’ for their ‘Ibizan Heat Tour 2013’ where he played various venues across San Antonio. Another memorable European appearance was for ‘Newstyle Perspective’ Club Night in Zwickau, Germany with Marc Van Gale which was also broadcasted live on the radio.

In 2019, Tom joined forces with good friend Mike Clark, both with a shared passion for Trance and launch a brand new radio show called EQ ‘The Heart Of Things Trance & Progressive’ which aired monthly on local community radio station in Bristol, ‘Bradley Stoke Radio'.

2021, Mike left Bradley Stoke Radio and Tom continued the show for the another year solo, changing the tagline to get ‘Get Uplifted’ showcasing  more on his signature, Uplifting,Tech Trance Sound.. 

In May 2022, Tom Left Bradley Stoke Radio and stopping doing EQ Radio show to focus on other project within music..  


As for the UK Tom has graced the decks at events such as Goodgreef, Delusion, Journey, Lifeline, Transcend, Tranceology, Tangled Up & Elevation Audio to name just a few!

In 2014, Tom launched a new trance night/radio show called ‘Trance Is Here’ with various successful club nights and co-residency for the monthly radio show for 3 years. 

Tom then decided the time was right to part company and focus his time on working on his other productions and dedicate time to working on future bookings and tours.

Tom has secured his first major release on well established label, DMAX which was a collaboration with Eric Zimmer & The Muzik Dealerz called Mind Calling which gained him some major support from various well established names within the scene.

Tom is currently working hard on new solo material, which he looks forward to showcasing in his forthcoming sets...
