"Media-isomeri" di Pellegrino Petrozziello é una installazione interattiva nata da attente riflessioni circa i rapporti che si sono instaurati nel corso degli anni tra l’uomo e le nuove tecnologie.
La forte integrazione del web nella vita quotidiana degli esseri umani ha fatto sì che questi cominciassero a trasferire in rete le loro immagini ed anche alcuni dettagli della loro vita.
Lo spettatore che si troverà di fronte allo schermo vedrà e sentirà effetti, glitch e interferenze audio che stravolgeranno la sua figura.
L’installazione é stata realizzata ricorrendo ad una patch algoritmica e generativa programmata in Max/Msp/Jitter.

"Media-isomeri" is an interactive installation created by some careful thoughts about relationships established, over the years, between man and new technologies. The tight integration of the web in the daily life of human beings has meant that these relationships began to transfer their pictures over the Net and also some details of their lives.
The viewer, faced at this work, will see and feel the effects, the glitches and some sound interfereces that will twist his figure. 
This installation has been achieved by making an algorithmic-generative patch built in Max/Msp/Jitter.

This piece was composed using Max/MSP and my usual DAW.  

The visualization for the video was created using Max/Jitter and edited using Final Cut Pro.

9 - Degrade

This is an example of a song that was made available for visitors of the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh to manipulate in realtime, by placing cutout pieces of construction paper on a canvas conveyor belt.

The name is a reference to the movie: "Hudsucker Proxy", by Joel and Ethan Cohen

School Trip - Generative Soundtrack

A piece of music create by generative music program that I created in Max/MSP.

The systems generates music determined by RGB values within a picture or video file and the resulting values cause sounds to react and present themselves. 

There's still some issues and the odd click, in the process of trying to correct this triggering issue.

It's a basic system that manages to create, at times, pleasant pieces of ambient music
