Respira (Breathe) was made using Max 8 to program a generative patch, choising notes in the Fmin chords, randomizing tempo and the note played. The sound is made with a simple sinusoidal additive synth, with a feedback delay and a nice vst reverb (Raum by Native Instruments, in "Air" mode).
Feeling the weight of life, you may stop for a moment... 
and breathe.

Welcome to listen to relaxing Binaural Beats.
Please use headphones to experience the sound as intended.

You can hear a single-note sample of a kalimba converted with multichannel harmonic delay. Additionally, you can experience additive synthesis creating ambient sounds.

The binaural beats are in the Theta wave, meaning there is a 4 Hz difference in the frequencies heard in the left and right sides of the headphones. This Theta wave frequency aims to induce relaxation.

Binaural Beats have helped me concentrate on reading, inspiring me to make a project of my own. I am writing my bachelor's thesis about the use of generative music systems in games. In the end, I found myself more intrigued by this aspect of the project.

I made this song using a max 8 patch I wrote. It's basically a collection of lots of tracks, each of which gets its own time signature. And you can save configurations of settings (notes, instrument selection, octaves, time signature, etc) and then set the order for them to play back. Customisable chords can be played too. And sample playback. So it's sort of its own DAW. This is the first 'finished' song using the my DAW.

Obsidian Frequencies II:
An intricate interplay of analog synth pulses and fragmented granulated textures, conjuring the dark resonance of an ancient machine awakening. The piece unravels in layers—unpredictable patterns from a random generator merge with the tactile grain of sound, evolving like shadows cast by flickering light through a shattered cathedral window.

Less about melody and more about the tension between control and chaos, Obsidian Frequencies II embodies a transformation—a journey through cascading frequencies, fractured harmonics, and the echoes of forgotten architectures.

Ambient. Sort of an accidental remix of a previous track called 'wing chord'. Some parts from that were repurposed and relayered into a long, droning track. Lots of bass. Made using my own custom made Max9 DAW for sequencing and Ableton for the instruments.
