"figrin d'an and the modal nodes (also known as the cantina band) is a fictional band from george lucas's science fiction saga star wars. the group first appeared in the film star wars episode IV: a new hope (1977) and were depicted as aliens with dome-shaped heads and round, black eyes, a race called biths. while it received its in-universe name, "mad about me," from the short story empire blues: the devaronian's tale in 1995's tales from the mos eisley cantina, it is titled "cantina band" on the film's many soundtracks."

thank you for arriving on time for your Nite Shift! This is me nitecraft and here is a live mix recording of my set from May the 4th at the legendary Gorgomish Afterhours in Vancouver Canada. 

I had the pleasure of playing after DJ Zero Disbelief who opened 2-4am, with me following his Progressive Trance set with some drivey Melodic house and techno followed by some progressive, tech house, minimal house and deep tech. Babamac closed from 6-8am and I have to say the energy in the room was electric! 
One of my favorite nights at Gorgomish. 

I also played one of my original tracks ;)
