After the family doctor prescribed nothing for one-year-old Norma's sty on her eye, her granny ordered the family out to a glen to gather garlic.
Back home, a leaf was ground up into a paste and applied to the eye, and in the morning there was not a trace of the sty at all...

Removing a sty with garlic
