Had this on the backburner for a long while, It's a remix of Crystal Snail's theme from Mega Man X2. I made an earlier take early last year, in which I tweaked the melody after the midpoint, so that the guitars keep going instead of pausing. I was real proud of it, but something about the pitch sliding on the guitars bothered me after a while, and I just barely found a moment to fix it.

I had a second take uploaded here for a few weeks, but almost immediately I realized something was STILL off about it. So I adjusted the timing of this one part of the melody, added a few more orchestra hits to compliment it, and made the arpeggios less abrasive, so now the guitars don't sound like a chicken when they do that anymore.

The midi was extracted from the game's SPC file.
