Before you hit play and lose yourself in this cloak of emotive sound, stop, I have a confession! 
You probably have a rough idea of the vibe you’re expecting to get into here, I mean, we have been doing this thing for a few years now right? But here’s my point, whatever you’re thinking, it’s likely to be a little off the mark. I have been somewhat self indulgent in creating 55b. Stepping aside from the usual Beach Club sound, this track stack is, shall we say, a bit more ‘left field’ for me. The initial vibe is rather anthemic but there are phases to this journey and it’s all very much about the way I’m feeling right now, rather than being defined to influence your feelings. 
Should I apologise for this self indulgence? No, but please don’t think this is arrogance on my part. The beauty of all music is its inherent ability to transfer energy from human to human. As always, this is me reaching out to you and the energy is right here.

Now having turned to production, Joe's 1st remix of Firestorm Equinox was signed to Alter Ego Records, with more tracks lined up for this year, Exclusive Guest slot for Akira Kayosa's Synthetica Show on Afterhours.FM (1st Tuesday of the month @19.00 GMT), and playing his 1st festival in august, it looks like its going to be a good year.

So if your looking for a Progressive House dj, with just a hint of filth and drive, then Joe is your man.

Moon Rocket (Raffa Scoccia) is a Producer/DJ  accomplished Piano and Hammond Organ player.

Doublicious started DJ'ing at the age of 13 with a strong focus on Hip Hop. He started producing at the age of 16 on Fast Tracker. In 2018 Doublicious started to focus on producing & DJ'ing electronic music. With a strong taste for Deep House, Progressive & Tech. He established a professional home studio where you will find him playing or producing. For him, it’s all about mood and a deep, hypnotic groove… playing those tracks that gets you riding that train and floating away without you realizing it.

BUDDY SUWIJN is a deep progressive techno DJ based in Amsterdam.

Buddy is born in 1966 in the south of the Netherlands, loved music from a young age, started mixing on decks borrowed from a friend at the age of 16. Electro at the time, picked up the dance music back in 1990. Loves Deephouse, Progressive and Techno. Searching for new sounds all the time. He organized parties in Amsterdam under the name Friends4Friends is a resident DJ for the Recycle Lounge Gallery Club (RLGC44) and was a event organiser for The Promisedland, Friends for Friends and Meetpackers. 

Shared the DJ Booth with Guy J, Eelke Kleijn, Guy Mantzur, Luis Junior, Cid Inc, Dimitri Kneppers, Vince Watson, Danny Howells, John QUIVVER Graham,  Dave Seaman, Erich von Kollar,  Brandstettner,  Jelly for the Babies, Paul Hazendonk, Jaap Ligthart, Fady Ferraye, Angelo D’Onorio, Martin Patino, Tim Engelhart, , Paolo Gambirasi, Mr Milano, ,  Lola Tek, Dmitri Molosh, Arturo Hevia, Alexander Koning , Robin JAYDEE Albers, Rogier, Clay van Dijk, Dennis Price and Andre Zeldenrust. Hi and welcome, you've found me!
If you're reading this then the chances are we share a common love for 'electronic dance' music and the various guises and forms it takes.
So who am I? My name is Jay and I am also known for being the Downtempo music writer/producer 'Coolmadina' (you'll find my other page on here too) 
So the Benirrás Beach Club is my project and it has 2 elements, firstly the mixes you are listening to on here and secondly the live show. If you catch one of the live shows you will often see me woking (as a DJ and percussionist) on stage with my dear friend of many years Mike Blatchford who is also a percussionist AND a fantastic Saxophonist. In the live shows, we playing tracks from the Benirrás mixes but we spice up that Ibiza vibe with the Sax and Percussion elements. If any of you have any knowledge of Ibiza, you will likely know about the Benirrás Beach and its spiritual connection to drums and rhythm. I have been a drummer since my childhood. Mike is a practicing Yoga instructor of many years and our joint passion for rhythms of the world and music that just grooves was the catalyst for this project. As a result it felt completely natural and right to have Ibiza and Benirrás as the inspiration behind it. 
I hope you enjoy the mixes on here and I REALLY hope we get to see some of you at the live shows as we work our way around the South of England and beyond!
