Nous recevons Marion Gabbai, qui est entre autres la programmatrice du festival Levitation. Initié à Austin en 2008, berceau du mouvement psyché des années 60, il s'est rapidement élevé au rang de référence mondiale. En 2011, cette flamme s'est propagée jusqu'à Angers, marquant la naissance de Levitation France, fruit d'un jumelage heureux entre les deux villes. Depuis, chaque édition, vibrant au son de la musique psychédélique, a fait danser des milliers de festivaliers, façonnant ainsi une solide réputation à l'échelle nationale et européenne. Avec son évolution constante, passant des murs du Chabada aux grands espaces extérieurs, le festival s'est imposé comme un rendez-vous incontournable du printemps. Marion vous invite à plonger dans l'univers de la onzième édition du festival qui se déroulera les 24 et 25 mai.

This is a rerecording of the set I dropped in the Meltdarn room at Shed 10 at the Donny Warehouse on Sat 3rd Aug 2024. It was by some distance, the best event I have attended this year, perhaps ever(?) Just wow, to have been a part of it was very special indeed.

Procyon hums in jubilation as Jazz musician turned electronic producer Trefoil releases ‘all that is solid melts into air’ EP on our communications platform.

The rigid, seemingly impenetrable basslines meshes with the the liquid, air-like dub pads. The effect creates for a mesmerising and entrancing listening experience.

The Naarm-based producer of only 2 years experience tells a compelling story through his mature productions: a story that invites contemplation between what is solid and what is air.
