Right I normally upload 2 mixes at the end of the year (breakbeat & UK hardcore) but I thought I would do one big mix this year with a bit of everything (because its all basically a form of hardcore) which will probably please no one but anyway I really enjoyed doing this one and doing these end of year mixes always reminds me how many good tracks have come out, so respect to the artists who keep the vibe alive 🫡 As usual I didn't play everything I wanted to but had to draw the line somewhere and 2.5 hours seemed the right place (respect to anyone who finishes listening to this mix 🤣), so yeah its been a tough year but its always darkest before dawn ...... or something, enjoy !

This time, I’ve put together a curated year-in-review of my favorite hardstyle tracks.
Mixing hardstyle isn’t easy for me—actually, it’s quite challenging. I find the typical mixing style used by most DJs uninspiring: switching tracks right after the last beat, straight into the opening drop of the next song.
It’s just so 'easy'.

When I mix, I want to make it more engaging. And that means doing some pre-listening, identifying good mixing spots, matching songs, and putting in the effort to create seamless transitions.

So, after dedicating some time to the pre-work, here’s the result.
