Tezcat Real!!! The pioneers and champions of "Smoke Rock" (aka "Smokin' Rock"), all hail TEZCAT REAL!  Tezcat Real Uber Alles!!!!

Brian Johnson Hoffmann and ChrystCha Cat (Johnson Hoffmann) form the core of this project, which at the time being is a studio band that intends to become a live band.  Marshall Ryggz and Ruby G do the bidding of Brian and Cat, which includes referring to Brian as "Life Of" Brian de la AC/DeiCide.   

Brian thinks he is funny.

Q: "What in blue blazes is a TEZCAT, mister?" We get asked this all the time. 
A: Da TEZCAT is the smoking obsidian mirror of Tezcatlipolka, the Aztec deity who created polka in ancient Meso-America, which pissed off Quetzalcoatl enough to cause him to abandon the primitive humans to their sorry ass situation.   It was a real "Mess O' America". 

To this day, polka is extremely popular in Mexico, which stretches all the way to Mt. Vernon, WA, where the essence and spirit of Tezcatlipolka is blasted from every lowrider by the vatos, cholos, chicas y tu madre. 

In an ancient drinking incident at the beginning of the world, Tezcatlipolka lost his foot when he fell off the boat into the dangerous swamp and he took advantage of this, insisting that he replace his foot with a MIRROR. He is often depicted standing next to oblivious priestesses while looking at his "foot" to "see all things".  

This one time on the Pee Wee Herman show, Pee Wee and Cowboy Curtis were putting mirrors on their shoes, and "why do we put mirrors on our shoes, PeeWee"? Then Ms. Yvonne came over and they started laughing.  One wonders why he was ever cancelled. Tezcatlipolka had a mirror for a foot, instead of a prosthetic foot. 

The "smoking obsidian mirror": 

If you contemplate the New Moon on a partly cloudy night, you'll start to get what Smokin' Rock is all about.  Then, contemplate that a Rock Star is really about the Full Moon, think about it.  

The REAL of Tezcat Real is pronounced like REAL-ity.  This proper pronunciation links reality and royalty, as in Sang Real - which some people think means "royal blood" but we say, "hey mama, sang real good last night, me have hangover".  We also insist that there is no such thing as royal blood, but royal souls.  Consider CALIGULA. Great film, shitty person. Need we say more?

I am a rural Texas recluse polymath who studies molecular biology and quantum mechanics.  My former professional vocations include management, demographics, software engineering, and training horses.

My musical tastes include all genres.  I trained on classical piano at my mother’s insistence, until I bombed a recital and quit in frustration.  I now use the tools on which I am most comfortable to create my music using computers and algorithms.  For my lyrics I argue with chatGPT4 and for melody I use various tools to generate.
