Michael is an architect and a co-director of architecture practice Andever, based in Carlton. The practice is deliberately broad in focus and agile in direction. 

Michael is also an award winning writer and advocate for better designed cities and built environments. In addition to these roles, Michael is the consulting architect for Built Environment Channel and a Master of Architecture thesis supervisor at the Melbourne School of Design.
