Six small machines strapped to the railings inside an institutional space generate patterns of tapping sounds which are reminiscent of telegraph machines, typewriters, prisoners tapping on bars, or insects.

Hi this is siddharth kaul. This is my podcast on embedded system a platform for me to share and capture my experiences and concepts that i have learned or am currently learning in my career.

In this episode I will talk about the microprocessors and microcontrollers in an embedded system.

When refering to what will power up the embedded system people usually refer to either microprocessors and microcontrollers. 
At the core both have processors.

Short demo tune made with my 8-bit diy synth. Some bitwise modulation going on there, some modest chorus, resonant filter and reverb added in DAW. The drum sounds are afrodjmac's commodere64 sounds. Bass, lead and other synth sounds all from my 8-bit crappy synth. It does sound pretty awfull at times, but with 8-bits what else did you expect? 

The synth is an 8-bit diy DAC connected to an atmega328 doing digital direct synthesis.

EP00 - Introduction to the 4Hackrr Podcast

4000AD is a tiny, 4-track, 1-bit, progressive jazz album. Each track is synthesised using a C script (which converts a custom MML dialect to WAV by running microcontroller code and recording the output) and is a fun exercise in both low-memory programming and 1-bit music.

The sound routine is 1-bit, with three pulse channels and a simple sampler for drums, designed for AVR microcontrollers. The sequencing is based around MML.
