One of the most exceptional works worth listening to is the vinyl "COLINDE", released on a Punchis Records from San Francisco.

Con profundo respeto y una enorme admiración por el legado de Gustavo Cerati, compartimos este remix como un sincero homenaje a su espíritu musical innovador y vanguardista.

Corría el año 1992 cuando Cerati, junto a Daniel Melero, lanzaba "Cozumel" dentro del disco Colores Santos... Una joya adelantada a su tiempo, que supo combinar con sutileza el rock con la electrónica, abriendo caminos que aún hoy seguimos recorriendo en la música argentina.

Hoy, deseamos que nuestro remix "Gustavo Cerati - Cozumel (Microdub & Carl OS Deep Mix)" vuelve a encender esa chispa, reinterpretando la obra desde una sensibilidad actual. Amigos, esta vez quiero compartirles algo muy especial para mí…💜

Se trata de mi versión de un tema que me marcó desde la primera vez que lo escuche. Hooverphonic, esa banda icónica de Bélgica que nació en el '95 y que supo mezclar trip-hop con una electrónica sofisticada, lanzó “Mysterious” el 16 de septiembre de 2022, abriendo una etapa donde el sonido noventoso vuelve con todo. Apenas escuché esa combinación de atmósferas cinematográficas y bajos potentes, supe que tenía que reimaginarlo para la pista.

En mi Deep Remix quise respetar esa melancolía vocal tan característica, pero llevándola a un terreno más bailable... sumé kicks redondos, un bajo flexible que respira groove y arpegios que se abren como un flash de neón en plena madrugada. Ya lo probé en mis sets y en los de colegas, y la vibra es increíble: la melodía te envuelve, el groove te invita a moverte y el clima funciona tanto en un warm-up sutil como en un cierre cargado de emoción.

Microdub is an electronic music producer and DJ, from Argentina. Known for his unique style and ability to
create an immersive atmosphere in his productions, his potential establishes him as one of the most
interesting and exciting artists in the current scene.

Since his early releases on labels under the name Funkstate, he has demonstrated his ability to mix elements
from different genres and create his own sound that sets him apart from other artists. His productions include
organic textures, ambient sounds, and hypnotic rhythms that combine to create a unique auditory experience.

In addition to his studio work, he is also a DJ with over 12 years of experience who has performed at numerous
events in Argentina. With his ability to create dynamic and exciting sets ranging from Deep House, House, Dub
Techno, Minimal to Indie dance, he proves to be a complete and versatile artist. His main influences are Hernán
Cattaneo and John Digweed.

Microdub has releases on Buddhabrot Music and Strangers Beats and is currently working on his solo career, a
new cycle that allows him to refine the sound that characterizes him.

With each new release and live performance, he continues to evolve and develop his unique sound. His
commitment to experimentation and innovation ensures that there will always be something new and
interesting to discover in his music.
