Another round with the 404. I was promised lo-fi hiphop but synthwave keeps coming out? Maybe they’ll address it in the next firmware.

I leaned much more heavily on the pattern sequencer and resampling this week to stop myself from freaking out and trying to do everything live. It was a much better experience.

Something I'm loving about the 404 is its portability. It's encouraging me to use the best tool for the job. Because if the tool is (say) upstairs and mounted in a rack, it’s a breeze to take the 404 to it, plug in, and get the sample.

As such, a real group effort this week. Bassline by DB-01, the glassy bell is a Digitone, arp from Micromonsta2, chords courtesy of the Analog Four,  and leads from a Voyager. Drums are Samples from Mars. And then so much Cassette Sim all over everything.
