One day, I was just messing around trying to write a math rock guitar loop, and it became a month long endeavor to make a full cover of Slingshot by Good Kid, but in the genre of Midwest Emo haha

I submitted this cover to Good Kid’s recent cover contest to get on their limited edition cassette tapes. This cover didn’t win a spot, but I really surprised myself with everything I was able to do and learn about music production by making this so it was all worth it.
