**Cortex Drift Protocol**

In the final century of flesh, where cities had collapsed under their own digital shadows and consciousness was bartered like black-market software, there came a signal. Not a broadcast. Not a voice. A vibration. A pulse in the dead zones of deep orbit. It wasn't meant to be found. But the Psy-Tech Nomads weren't bound by meaning.

They found it drifting around the fracture moon of Kaon-7, wrapped in decaying encryption and carved into relic circuitry older than any human tongue. They called it the Cortex Drift Protocol. A living frequency. A portal encoded in sound. One that promised not just knowledge—but transcendence.

They chose me.

Hooked into the interface rig, my body gone to numb shadow, I drifted into neural sync. What came first was silence, then the slow rumble of descent. Pressure against the edges of thought. Time unraveled. The spacecraft I wasn’t in began its fall toward an impossible planet.

The world was not real. It breathed like a beast. Its surface pulsed in sync with my heart. Each bass thump from the protocol dug deeper into memory, vibrating against trauma I'd buried in soft code. This wasn’t simulation. This was sentience — and I was inside it.

A flicker. A glitch. Rhythmic pulses began to organize, sculpting the space around me into something like architecture. Out from that structure came the Signal Dancers.

They weren’t made of flesh or wire, but waveform and instinct. Fractal limbs. Faces that never stayed still. Their movement synced with the emerging beat, cracking reality open with every pirouette. They danced not for beauty but to unbind me. Memory by memory, beat by beat.

I tried to fight it, but the sound burrowed in.

A tribal rhythm laced with metallic distortion surged through my brainstem. They found my childhood and twisted it into melody. They unearthed fear, love, and failure—and set it to syncopated collapse. The bass dropped. Everything shattered.

Time collapsed. The beat faltered, became erratic, then violent. This was the Sub-Neural Collapse.

Suddenly I was *falling*. Not through space, but through self. All the layers I’d constructed to protect my identity tore loose. The Nomads lost contact. I was alone in raw cognition, drowning in psychic magma. My thoughts came unthreaded, spun backward, rearranged themselves in haunting staccato bursts.

Then—light. Thin and cold. An arpeggiated melody like a distant signal flare pierced the madness. I focused. The Spindle Reversal Protocol activated.

The environment restructured. I stood at the center of a kaleidoscope of my own past lives. Alternate selves flickered around me, each built from choices I hadn't made. One killed. One loved. One ran. One surrendered. Each reality pulsed with a unique rhythm. Every beat a door. Every transition a trap.

The psy-wraiths came then.

Shadow-thoughts made real, feeding on the regrets of alternate timelines. I ran. I fought. I danced through timelines like a DJ crossfading between lives. And still, the rhythm chased me.

My name is Julian Maramieri. Better known as Nostromo. I produce the genres: New Beat, Techno, EBM, Industrial and Minimal Electro....

Between 2004 and 2007 I built my own recording studio called "Oalanka Studios". So a lot of demo projects were created with musician colleagues, but I didn't really release this music. 

You can hear me here on my site... Under my stage name Nostromo. 

However, my recording studio "Oalanka Studios" no longer exists... I closed it on January 2nd, 2024. My current recording studio "Oalanka Studios 2.0" has become very small.... Just for me :) 

By the way, before I forget. The music style “New Beat” that I produce was a created music style in Belgium from 1986 to 1992. 
Maybe my "New Beat" isn't the original from Belgium. But then I developed my own “New Beat” style. 

Nevertheless, thanks to all Belgian "New Beat" producers and the inventor of this brilliant genre. Marc Grouls, Olivier Abeloos, DJ Dikke Ronny and In-D. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get to know you personally. Have fun listening...

Seit mehr als zwei Jahrzehnten begeistere ich mich für die TECH- MNML- und vor allem die DRUM und BASS - Szene in meiner Heimatstadt Münster/Toruń und habe mich entschlossen, selbst Musik zu machen.

Musik ist ein sehr wichtiges Element in meinem Leben, deshalb habe ich mich oft Musikprojekten wie Big Bands oder Rockbands angeschlossen.

I've been enjoying the TECH- MNML- and especially the DRUM and BASS - scenes in my hometown(s) Münster/Toruń for more then two decades and decided to do some music.

Music is a very important element in my life, that's why I often joined music projects like big bands or rock bands.

Cieszę się sceną TECH- MNML- a zwłaszcza DRUM n BASS- w moim rodzinnym mieście (miastach) Münster/Toruń od ponad dwóch dekad i postanowiłem zająć się muzyką.

Muzyka jest bardzo ważnym elementem w moim życiu, dlatego często dołączałem do projektów muzycznych, takich jak big bandy czy zespoły rockowe.

Właściwie zebrałem wiele godzin z jednej strony za deckami, a z drugiej przed nimi i zamierzam zaprezentować Ci to, co najlepsze, więc sprawdź to i bądź na bieżąco 😎

Techno, Trance, Psytech, Psytrance, and other liquid psychedelic music is where I'm the happiest but I do love a lot of Latin, Tribal, LoFi, Chillhop so I'll start Off-Beat Mondays so experimenting.

Born in the dust-filled vibes of a ‘90s apartment, Grass Patch Bum started spinning records back when vinyl was king and internet cafes were revolutionary. Now, powered by Ableton Live and a creative arsenal that refuses to stay in one genre, Grass Patch Bum weaves sonic journeys that blend groove, grit, and just a sprinkle of nostalgia for the good ol' days.

DJ Stani Stern, also known as Stephanie, is a German DJ and producer who has had an extensive journey in the world of music. Starting with a classical piano education in her early childhood, Stephanie's passion for music blossomed. 


Around the turn of the millennium, her adventure took her to Koh-Phangan’s Haadrin Beach, where she spent a season learning the art of DJing from the legendary Stefano de Mattia. She quickly progressed, and within a few months, she was playing at a Half-Moon Party for the first time.


Stephanie's move to Berlin marked a significant turn in her career. Under the name Steph, she played at numerous clubs and festivals, including the Antaris Project, in and around cities like Berlin, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Nürnberg, Paris, and La Gomera, predominantly spinning Psytrance and Minimal tracks. 


One of her most exciting ventures was with the world music band Dissidenten, which led to the "A New World Odyssey" Europe tour, adding a rich layer of experience to her musical journey. After a brief hiatus, Stephanie reignited her passion for music some years ago, this time diving into music production. 


Collaborating with longtime musician friends, she ventured into Progressive House. Her dedication culminated in many releases.

Her evolution as an artist is a testament to her versatility and enduring love for creating music.
