My name is Pietro Zaffuto, known as UniVersus, and I am an Italian musician and composer. I have studied music since childhood, focusing on theory, solfeggio, harmony, and composition, applied to bass and complementary piano, earning my diploma over the years.

I have composed both classical and experimental music, as well as electronic dance music (Techno, Tech House, Minimal), with releases over the years on Italian labels. My musical philosophy is that music is simply beautiful or ugly, without limits of genre or labels.

I perform live both as a soloist, using synthesizers and electronic instruments, and with my six-member band, playing acoustic and traditional music with classical and other instruments, continuously exploring musical avant-garde in all its forms.

The genres I mentioned are only a simplified reference for those who like to categorize music. However, I want to emphasize that, after years of prayer and meditation, I have come to the conclusion that, for me, music transcends genres, eras, and origins: it exists only in its essence as either beautiful or not. And, in my view, that is already more than enough.

Mark Tamsett (producing as Mark Tammo) from the South East of England, grew up listening to Soul, Funk & Electro and early Hip-Hop during his teens, but his Eureka moment came whilst at the Prestatyn Weekender in 1988. It was here where he first heard the deep, oscillating and twisted sounds of Acid House. From this moment on he decided he’d like to seek out, collect, DJ and play House music and throughout the nineties secured a few residencies in London as well as at monthly local nights and festivals too. In the noughties he set up the legendary Raise nights with a few close friends and still puts on the occasional Raise night in London and Kent, also co-hosting another local night called "Group Therapy" with James Parkes  

He also now co-hosts a monthly 3 hour radio show on the GraffPUNKS Network with Sean Harvey, called the Raise Sessions.

Mark Tammo now produces Melodic Tech sometimes with a Deep Progressive edge and Melodic Breaks out of his home studio in Kent. 

Recent tracks have included releases on SLR, Cood Music, SoundOptix, Zephyr, Abstract Tech records, Hexagonal, Magic Moments, Safe as Records, Capital Heaven, Arbor Recordings and Melodic Beats.
