By chance, I recently dove into Berlin School style music, something I had always loved and found intriguing, but never tried to make myself. The layered sequences and hypnotic flow inspired me to take a little trip of my own. This fun little project became an exploration of that sound world, while still keeping a personal twist on it.

IDEA – Sequenced Journey
I began by designing a few strong sounds, focusing on analog textures. Step by step, I built layers that would interweave in the spirit of Berlin School. Once I added some NASA recordings and sound fragments, a narrative started to take shape; emotions unfolding in waves. I tried to stay close to the essence of the style, which made this track quite different from what I usually create.

COMPO
The structure emerged naturally as I stacked sequences and chords. Repetition and gradual development were key elements. I wanted the music to develop, with space for atmospheres and simple melodies to interact. What started as an experiment slowly transformed into a more cohesive journey, balancing rhythm, harmony, and texture.

Hello everybody! :)

This time something for a game project. :)
I don't know if this is good enough, but I hope it's nice to listen to it. ;)

I thought about "how it would sound, if Kombi, Kayah and Reni Jusis will record a track together?" and I tried to compose a music module in such a weird style. ;)

Anyway, because of so much effects and VST instruments, the final track was difficult to play live (as a module) on my Pentium 4, which decided that "it's too much for me, guy", and occasionally failed to play it properly (glitches were common). :D
So, I'm happy that exporting this module (just because it's something like "rendering") was 100% successful. :)

PHAT FLAVOUR CREW is a collective of young Hip Hop / R&B musicians and
singers based in London UK. Our influences are mainly Oldskool and 70's
Soul and Funk.
 
 We only use Oldskool gear - Minimoog, Prophet and Oberheim Synthesizers,
Akai Samplers and Roland D50 to keep the flavour REAL. We record with Logic.

We are always looking for new vocalists / singers to work with.

 At the moment we are looking for a record or production company to give
us studio time to complete our first CD.

Music is my real love. I love composing and producing it. In fact, it's my greatest hobby. I'm doing it since ca. 2000 year.
Since 2003/2004 I'm using lot of music software. Since 2007 I'm writing music modules (Amiga, PC and Mac).
And, since 2020, I'm also using GarageBand on my Mac Mini.
Since 2016 I'm also partially active in the Amiga scene.

I'm a furry since June 2010

Composer, arranger, keyboardist sound designer and programmer.

treast is instrumental atmospheric electronica, featuring synths, guitars and bass, virtual instruments, sounds and noises. Minimal use of  loops or samples.

I'm a retired Sailor, a dad, a granddad, an audio engineer, a foley artist, a sound designer, a voiceover actor, and a composer working for a Christian audio theater.  I hope to eventually compose for film, TV and games.  It could happen!
