PT5 draws inspiration from the 2024 PT5 asteroid, which enters Earth's orbit as a mini-moon just days after the track's release . 

The track emerged organically during a studio session, built around an arpeggiated loop from a Moog synth. With its minimalist structure, evolving dynamics, and a deep, atmospheric sound, PT5 captures the raw, powerful energy of an asteroid’s orbit—a perfect blend of space and sound.

The music has been used by Norwegian national TV channels NRK and TV2 and has had airplay on BBC radio.
 
His second album, Skywatching (2009) featured vocals by VAMP singer Jan Toft.

In 2016 he released the soundtrack for the Norwegian action short, RUN.
