The two northerners Rocko and Jan paid tribute to their origin: Their "Buchtwacht EP" is inspired by the producers hometowns in northern germany and plays with memories of the sea, lighthouses and the smell of harbours in the dead of night. Finlands "HYV" (Juho Kahilainen) reinterpreted "Sielwall" as an analogue house-track.

Jan Hertz and Rocko Garoni are back with a new release that will heat up dance floors and living rooms this winter! Known for their distinctive style of mixing melodic and floating elements, the two guys from Northern Germany have taken the next big step and released their latest work “Puttgarden EP” on SPIELGOLD. While the same-titled track „Puttgarden“ comes straight out with a percussive and catchy lead synth, “Platzregen” sticks out with its warm, pumping and space-filling groove supported by a few dub elements. The release is accompanied by remixes from Ferdinand Dreyssig & Marvin Hey (Katermukke), Soukie & Windish (URSL) and Amount (URS). Enjoy!

I am Frost aka René Frost wurde 1987 in Feldberg geboren und lebt derzeit in der Techno-Hauptstadt Berlin. Auf dem Fusion Festival 2005 erlebte René den magischen Moment der ihn mit der Begeisterung für elektronische Musik infizierte. Als er vom Festival zurückkehrte besorgte er sofort seine ersten Turntables, einen Mixer und ein Bundle Vinyl. 2009 kehrte er dem Dorf den Rücken um am SAE-Institute Berlin Musikproduktion zu studieren und wurde bald darauf ein Teil des Vergissmeinnicht Künstlerkollektivs. 2013 startete René sein I am Frost Projekt und begann live auf diversen Festivals und Locations zu spielen. Seitdem hat René sich als Produzent konstant weiterentwickelt und EPs, Remixes und Singles auf verschiedenen Labels veröffentlicht.
