I'd be honest, one thing I've always worshipped about black metal was the complete verzicht of everything needed but raw- RAW atmosphere. sth I've always loved about rewinding soundtapes.

tl;dr: slowed and lowered bass/ high pitch version playing backwards and edited in eq

and now: lemme me tell you a story by listening. I loved doing this to t.A.t.u.'s sacrifice in the past ("sacrifice" has been said by them  even spelling the song backwards back in the days in 2005/7 or sth :) more like sa-cri-fiiiice but demooo!
