Missledz - The Bromeliad Society

We are very happy to welcome Bristol based DJ/Producer - Missledz - to to Team SINE for two reasons. Firstly, she will be joining us at our summer day party on bank holiday Monday for a special b2b with Dilemma and secondly and more importantly, because she will be the 1st female artist to release on the SINE Audio imprint. Premiere: Missledz 'Parallel' [Strictly Deep DNB]

So after touching experimental ground with Impex's EP, its time for our first two track of 2020 on Strictly Deep DNB by missledz. 

Coming through with her signature mix of tribalesque drums and use of spacey vocals, 'Parallel' rolls into a drone ridden soundscape with a minimal bassline that will shake you to your core.

We're heading straight in at the deep end for this one. "Bringing you the modern sounds of Drum and Bass", Noxious Records return with just the latest in their stonking series of official releases, this time bringing through the infinitely-talented Missledz. The Aus-born, now Bristol-based producer already has a striking back catalogue of label releases, as well as heavy support from the likes of Rene LaVice, Fre4knc, Quadrant & Iris, Revaux & more. She also holds down as a residency for Bristolian party-starters Rotations, and maintains a position as A&R for Boey Audio, adding yet more strings to her multi-faceted bow. This effort, 'Eff You', throws up a bass-etched middle finger whilst retaining the minimal, submerged slickness that Noxious is celebrated for - we're predicting huge things on the horizon for both parties. Gritty.

Since 2015, SINE have been establishing themselves across London as a purveyor of quality drum and bass nights, putting on parties at venues such as Fabric, E1, Fire & Lightbox and many more. Teaming up with the likes of Dispatch Recordings, 31 Recordings and ProgRAM, the nights became a go-to for underground drum and bass rinse-outs in the capital, with a close-knit family feel and focus on vibes over everything else.

Over the last year, SINE have been on a journey, expanding the public’s perception of what they can offer to the scene. The beginning of 2020 saw the official launch of SINE Audio, the label arm to the SINE moniker, aiming to transfer the same quality-over-quantity ethos over from their club nights to the label’s output. 

Their sound shifts between the deeper, club-ready end of the spectrum, more experimental efforts, and smooth liquid vibes. SINE have been steadily building their arsenal for when clubs return to the fold, and are ready to fuse their original events expertise with the new label.

Strictly Deep Dnb is a music promotion channel, label and Facebook group with the focus specifically on the deeper, techy and minimal sounds in drum & bass.
