It was an amazing party from my friends from The Monkey Bar in Barcelona, where I got to play with Axel for the very first time. Alfonso (Hain Dutt at the time), started the night, then me and Axel b2b with Axel playing the last 30 min alone of the set before @dixon took over.

The Swedish superduo Einar Christoffersson and Marco Gegenheimer broke through in 2016 via their EP "Swedish Lo-Life," released on the eclectic Studio Barnhus label. Born from a love of heavily dug DJ sets, late-night studio sessions, and live organic elements; they channel a whole universe of stories.
MLiR always has something to say through their sounds, constantly expanding their musical journey. They’ve had varied support during the years from DJ Harvey, Hunee, Antal, Kamma & Masalo, Laurent Garnier, Axel Boman, Lipelis, Jonny Rock, Danilo Plessow, Gilles Peterson, DJ Koze, Roman Flügel, Move D, Nicola Cruz, Haai, and Prins Thomas, to name a few.
The MLiR SoundCloud page is filled with mixes for NTS, DHA, Dekmantel, Dekmantel Selectors, Planet Trip, Kiosk Radio, Worldwide FM, Krossfingers, and others. With releases on Marco and Arnau Obiols’ own Taf Kif Records, Ibadan, and Shall Not Fade, 2024 brought to light their debut album, a 16-track double LP, once again, on home base Studio Barnhus.
Marco (the DJ of MLiR), who was behind the online record store Magic Teapot Records, runs the party ”Calamari Rolls Royce” at the hyped Club Malasaña in Madrid on a regular basis. More to come is another album for Maher Daniel, Bill Patrick, and Jesse Roig's newly started Stratasonic Records; more edits on Smutty Edits; plus one more album for Music From Memory in 2026. MLiR are not tucking themselves under any sombreros!"

Born in Sweden, shaped by his time in Barcelona, and now based in Berlin, Alterfix is one half of the eclectic duo @m-l-i-r), known for infectious releases like “People,” “Spanish Lo Life,” and “Utado” on @studiobarnhus.

Following the release of his debut solo album ÖN earlier this year, Alterfix continues to expand his creative universe — blending live recordings of bass, guitar, and keys with lush synths and soulful female vocals. His work bridges music and visual art, inviting listeners into a world that’s colorful, warm, and deeply human.

In this Swedish takeover, Alterfix showcases new material from his FIXTAPE VOL. 2, delivering a rich journey through rhythm, melody, and imagination.

Klaus Benedek grew up in a small town near Vienna. His interest in electronic music began during the 90s techno hype. He spent hours watching video clips on MTV and viva and thus gaining knowledge about electronic music. In 2004, he began teaching himself to produce. Gathering his inspiration wherever he could, he began collecting 12" vinyl records the same year and 2 years later got his first dj-gigs. From 2008 till 2010 he was one of the resident DJs at the MNML Thursdays in the Camera Club. In 2012 he started with Alex Kolodziej the event-series Tellerbetrieb. Currently he finds most of his inspiration in Chicago House, Deep House, Disco and Breakbeat. After releases on labels like Petrol Dollar, Subversaal, rekooda, Soul Shift Music, Clean and Dirty Recordings and tanzbar, Klaus launched his own label forTunea in 2014.

For the Finnish-born, San Francisco and Berlin-based DJ, producer and music curator, Janne Tavi it’s all about paying it forward “What good is music and the people behind it if it’s not being shared?” says Janne.

Born in Helsinki, Janne’s passion for music started early fueled in part by his synesthesia, a  condition causing people to perceive music in color. He spent a great deal of his youth in scouring Helsinki’s libraries and making sense of the colors. 

After being scouted by @ibadan while volunteering in a Helsinki nightclub, Janne moved to Berlin and found himself in a vibrant city, surrounded by a global artist roster and working alongside his childhood music idols – the legends of house and techno.

As his involvement with music deepened both in the studio and at Ibadan’s label HQ as an A&R, Janne’s musical aesthetic expanded beyond the limits of traditional genres. Rather than adhere to subjective categorizations that divide music, Janne always stays true to the vibe of any given room or occasion.

Janne found his calling in radio when he in 2021 launched his monthly London radio show, Badlands, focusing on connecting people with new talent, interviewing legends and paying tribute to its pioneers.

With his past collaborations and future releases with Kerri Chandler, Robert Owens, Fred P, Deetron and Cee ElAssaad, Janne is affirming his place as a torchbearer of the next generation. From his baptism by fire at his first ever club gig at Berghain/Panorama Bar to collaborations with legendary producers and now hosting his own radio show, Janne’s future bristles with opportunity.
