Look Away Now

This piece was recorded back in April 2007 for BBC Radio 3's poetry programme The Verb, hosted by Ian McMillan. I was asked to come on the show to talk about running Shortfuse, a weekly spoken word night, and to perform a poem I'd written entirely in predictive text. 

Listening back it is crazy that how, in less than a decade, what was deemed to be new fangled nonsense is now a non-existent technology.  

The poem as a printed memorial to old technology is published in the excellent anthology of new poetry - Adventures in Form (Penned in the Margins). This recording also features a poem called 'That's My Chelty'.
