“Wise Choices” is a prelude for piano with a minimalist aesthetic and an optimistic, grateful, and serene character. The sonority of this prelude thrives on the use of the pedal and resonances, which add a third dimension to the sound. 
The score includes a quote attributed to Plato that contextualizes the title: "A good decision is based on knowledge, not on numbers." This idea is particularly provocative in our time, when the concepts of big data and faith in statistics as an omnipresent and unappeasable benchmark begin to undermine human responsibility in decision-making.


Wise Choices

"Not Enough Silence" is a young guitar player from Ukraine specializing in Ambient guitar and Lo-fi music.

Each track is a product of spontaneous improvisation, a heartfelt conversation with the guitar itself. His compositions serve as a conduit for raw feelings, capturing moments and experiences through the strings of his guitar.

In 1998, pianist and composer Bruno Sanfilippo, along with his wife Ximena Contreras, established their own record label, ad21, as a haven for their creative expression. Since then, ad21 has released over 30 solo and collaborative albums in digital and physical formats, solidifying its position as a cornerstone of the neoclassical music scene.
In 2024, ad21 embarked on an ambitious new venture by opening its doors to pianists worldwide, broadening its platform and artistic outreach. Collaborating with Javier Guglielmi, ad21 aims to foster a record label specializing in neoclassical music, with a particular focus on solo piano performances.
Their vision for ad21 is to create a nurturing environment where artists can discover a supportive community and access the resources necessary to maximize their musical potential.

Fabio Capponi, pianist and composer from Italy, was born in Sant'Elpidio a Mare (FM) in 1977. Graduated in Piano at the "G.B.Pergolesi" Conservatory of Music in Fermo (IT) and graduated in Engineering at the Polytechnic University of the Marche, he began studying the piano at the age of 7. As soon as he came of age he immersed himself in the universe of solo composition and at the age of 23 he recorded his first album: "Naturalpiano". He studied jazz piano with Mike Melillo, attended the Berklee Summer School at the Umbria Jazz Clinics in Perugia, the Improvisation Masterclass of the Stresa Festival with Enrico Pieranunzi, the Film Music Composition Course at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena with Maestro Louis Bacalov and the Music Composition Laboratory for Silent Cinema with Maestro Rossella Spinosa. In2009 his album of compositions for solo piano "A Due Mani" was released and he made his debut in Italian theaters with the show "Il Sorriso di Charlie". In 2016 his album “Occhi nei Occhi” was released and with the song “Terra di Smeraldo” he won third prize at the “Maurice Ravel” International Composition Competition in Novara. In 2018, with the album "SOULS", he established his artistic partnership with the singer-songwriter Serena Abrami. In the theatrical field he curates and writes original music for theatrical shows including those with the italian philosopher Cesare Catà (Macbeth", "Romeo & Juliet", “Richard II”, “Virginia Woolf, the abyss of nostalgia”, “Jane Austen”, “Veronica Franco, the brilliant courtesan”, “Frankenstein in love”, “Pier Paolo Pasolini, in a terrible state”) and by the italian writer Lucia Tancredi ("La vita privata di Giulia Schucht”, “Lo sferisterio a Macerata e l'avventura dei cento consorzi”, “Aida 1921”).
In 2024 he will be releasing his new album "Nella bellezza infinita" of compositions for piano and string orchestra.
The songs are inspired by the lives of both real and imaginary women who, with the "infinite beauty" of their souls, have left or will leave an indelible mark in each of us.
