<Beautiful Mess>는 저 멀리의 별빛을 향한 여정과, 그 길 위에서 마주하는 혼란과 고난을 그린 곡이다. 밤하늘의 별들도 빛나지 않았던 과거가 있었을 수 있다. 별처럼 빛나고 싶지만, 어쩌면 그저 깨진 유리조각일지도 모른다는 두려움 속에서 ‘나‘ 는 스스로의 불완전함을 받아들이고, 결국 그 불안과 흔들림조차 ‘아름답다’ 고 말한다. 강렬한 밴드 사운드와 보컬은 그 여정이 결코 쉽지 않음을 상징한다. <Beautiful Mess>는 완벽하지 않아도 괜찮다고, 지금 이 순간의 흔들림 또한 언젠가 빛으로 남을 것임을 담담히 노래하는 곡이다.
