It took me a longer time to get it complete but yeah, Vesuvius VA compilation is finally ready to be released :) I've been selecting tunes for the whole past summer 2016 till now, to reach this blasting result: "explosive psytrance" expressing the real power of nature as well as the power of a Vulcan, so conceptually close to the power of Shiva God, cyclically destructing and recreating life. Vesuvius is the name of the Vulcan in Napoli, my native land. It is the first thing I look at every morning out of my window when I wake up and it became the source of my inspiration for collecting the music I currently like and play in my djset around the world. As well as all people living here at the bottom of Vesuvius is aware everything may instantly disappear in case of eruption and so developed special chromosomes to face difficulties of everyday life, I felt a very deep connection with our local nature according to the challenges I had to overcome in my professional growth in a country where anything is easy and where human and cultural values are often just used as marketing tools rather than being spread and shared as inner living practices. I strongly thank all artists involved in this project who confirmed once again the trust on my attitudes and appreciating my musical vision as Dj and more as psychedelic music chronic maniac. All the physical copies will be out with biodegradable digi-sleeves according to Sonica Festival’ sustainable activities in order to reduce the production and the consume of the plastic. Enjoy Vesuvius guys! 100% pure blasting psytrance!

Jungle Calling is a compilation made by Djs Govinda & Mikel and inspired by the wild jungle gathering we have been putting up in Goa since few years now. After more then 10 years of experience taking active part in festivals like Boom, Ozora, Sonica, Modem, Blackmoon and others we finally decided to open a record label and release music from our favourite artists selecting tracks from the most known ones like Ajja, Drip Drop, Gaspard and Dsompa. but also some emergent ones like Brain jam, Overload and Dimmitrion to give voice to great new artists that haven't been discovered by the audience yet. The type of sounds that we have been selecting is a mixture of organic feelings, groovy baselines and crunchy leads aiming to take you into a powerful hypnotic experience. The dance floor has been our biggest passion for many years, that's why our hope is that these tunes will bring you into a new dimension like it did to us in the last parties... Here is the set i played at Shankra to honor our great friend and labelmate Bruno, Module Virus who passed away after battling with cancer. It was a magical moment,  the second the set was over it started raining. This set contains some of his best of, collaborations, recent and unreleased work. Big thanks to Mahi from Shankra for suggesting this set in his memory, Bom Shanka music for providing me with music which was released on their label, where Bruno was a member for many years - unfortunately i couldn't load that batch in time. Big thanks to Boom Festival and Ozora - you fullfilled his lifetime dreams by giving his music the stage he dreamed of since he started making music.  Much thanks also for everyone who supported Bruno in his too short but colorful life. It made him happy to play his music to people and see them dance. Ingrained Instincts is a unique project consisting of Tilemachos Vlachos, and Dafy Deliangelos from Greece. Both have shared the same passion for Psychedelic music since their very early days. They met in 2001, formed a project together, and started to develop a different sound, but one totally sympathetic to the scene, and yet wholly psychedelic, and funky! 

After many years of experimentation, the Ingrained Instincts project was born in 2014. Their sound could be described as an amalgamation of many variations which don’t fit in one box – definitely different and organic sounding. For their production they use analogue as well as digital hardware, and are building their own modular system. Tilemachos also has a downtempo project called “Escape Velocity”, with releases on Spiral Trax, Sonic Loom and Eardream Music amongst other labels. Ingrained Instincts are signed with Sangoma Records and so far released on TIP Records, Nano Records, Future Music Records, Blacklite Records and more. Ingrained Instincts have been busy touring around the globe and have performed live at some of the biggest festivals of the Psytrance scene such as Boom, Ozora, Universo Paralello, Sonica, Antaris, FreeEarth, Indian Spirit, Kosmos and many others… 

This is one project you have to keep an ear out for, because before you know it you’ll be dancing away. Uncontrollably! It’s infectious.

A true force in the Psytrance world and beyond it, Yoni Oshrat, better known as Ace Ventura, isn't just a DJ and producer - he's an experience. For over two decades, his infectious energy has ignited dance floors worldwide. From intimate clubs to headlining major festivals, Ace Ventura has captivated audiences with his signature style. His music is characterised by a fusion of hard, pumping dancefloor oriented themes and deeper, groovier influences, always immersed in psychedelia. As a DJ his diverse musical tastes and vast musical knowledge enables him to create unique sonic experiences. In times when lineups consist mostly of short producer sets, Yoni pushes the envelope to play long sets that tell a real story, going back to the origins of DJ culture.

His passion for psytrance extends far beyond music. Alongside Liquid Soul, he co-founded Psy-Nation, a global movement encompassing a monthly radio show/podcast and a travelling party line. This dedication to the genre fosters community and discovery for psytrance enthusiasts everywhere.

While psytrance is his domain, Ace Ventura's musical curiosity extends to downtempo and dub universes.  This deep appreciation for diverse electronic styles adds another layer to his artistry, evident in his acclaimed "Ace Ventura in Dub" sets.

Ace Ventura isn't confined to the booth. Beyond solo ventures, he collaborates on successful projects like Alpha Portal (with Astrix), Alien Art (with Captain Hook), Liquid Ace (with Liquid Soul), and Acid Punks (with Outsiders), each project offering a different sound adventure.

Daksinamurti is a Psytrance artist, producer, DJ and ethnologist from Marburg, Germany. Till is the founder and label-manager of Sangoma Records, which he and his friend Emiel curated in 2011 to share their musical vision, love and passion for authentic trance-inducing music in over 150 releases. The independent label soon developed into one of the icons in it’s genre – pushing the boundaries, releasing high quality music and art and having label artists performing at events worldwide, while still being close to it’s roots. 

As an artist Daksinamurti has become an integral part of the circuit, performing his DJ and live sets in over 50 countries at events and festivals such as Boom, Ozora, Modem, Universo Paralello, Fusion Festival and others. 
Since discovering Goatrance in the jungles and on the beaches of India end of the 1990’s, Till developed a insatiable thirst for studying culture and it’s mysteries as an anthropologist, while experimenting and understanding the effects, benefits, healing abilities and power of music on the body and mind. 

After almost 20 years of DJing the urge to dive deeper into the music and extend knowledge were the main motivations to start producing and composing tracks in 2018. The result was his debut album “The Dawn of Another Meaning” on Sangoma Records in 2022.
Together with N3xu5 from Portugal Daksinamurti formed the side project “Archetypes” who released their self-titled album on Sangoma in 2024.

Musical storytelling, his love for diversity combined with technical sophistication has become part of his associated artistic characteristics. Till enjoys playing intuitive extended sets far from predictability and stereotypes in order to skillfully create a colorful but driving journey. His sound covers a wide spectrum ranging from light to night - from meditative deepness, joyful moments in the groove of the here & now, to euphoria and beyond.

Virtual Light is a psytrance producer and DJ hailing from the great white North of Canada. He has been slaying dance floors like it was 1999 since 1999 and has toured the world many times over, laying down his signature sound at all the world's top festivals. Being one of the Zero1 label DJs, his style ranges from futuristic twilight to a deep, uplifting, classically psytrance vibe unified by an enigmatic character that defines the Zero1 sound.

Pantomiman is George Agaronov (or Gosha for short), a Russian psytrance producer with some extra flavour on top — he is a professional comic actor who comes from a family of circus comedy performers! Early in his childhood years Gosha began playing musical instruments, performing on stage and later composing his parts for a circus band. When Gosha was a teenager he discovered electronic music and a bit later towards the late nineties Gosha discovered something that felt very natural to him — psychedelic trance. Since then Gosha has been developing and working on his own sound, partly with an expert guidance from Alex Parasense. Pantomiman’s groovy bass lines and comical themes make people dance and laugh at the same time, while of course his skilful sound synthesis guarantees that a trip will be adventurous, joyful and amusing.
