This piece is inspired by the research of British scholar Carole Pegg on Mongolian musical forms and concepts. Her exploration of throat singing (khöömei) is primarily presented in her article “The Mongolian Perspective on Throat Singing”. Based on her fieldwork conducted from 1989 to 1990 in western Mongolia, the article links Mongolian throat singing with its social context and the cognitive world of performance. It focuses on the non-religious performance context, theories of origin, legends and historical developments, reshaped artistic forms, traditional training methods and dissemination, Mongolian classifications of throat singing, and its connections with nature and shamanism, among other aspects. The composition organizes sound to express Mongolian reverence for nature, religious beliefs, and their concepts of time and space, as reflected in overtone singing and performance. Conducted with a stopwatch, the piece ultimately hands over control of time to the performers themselves.

This drum and bass track is inspired by Choinom's poetry, capturing the intense blend of joy and agony he expressed. His powerful words are woven into the rhythm, bringing his emotional depth into each beat as a tribute to his timeless voice.

The Pallas' Leaf Warbler is certainly one of the most beautiful leaf warblers of the Western Palearctic. Coveted in Europe as a rare and exceptional species during migration, few European people come into contact with its song. Yet its complex song is just as attractive and at the same time little studied.
In Asia, on the other hand, the bird is common and therefore receives much less attention. Here it is simply one species within the large variation of leaf warblers, which, in contrast to the European representatives, almost all have complex songs.
