Moondog – Elpmas (1991)

Moondog- Louis Thomas Hardin (May 26, 1916 – September 8, 1999), known professionally as Moondog, was an American composer, musician, performer, music theoretician, poet and inventor of musical instruments. Largely self-taught as a composer, his prolific work widely drew inspiration from jazz, classical, Native American music. 
Now it's time to introduce this unordinary musician to hip-hop universe.

Une pièce que je travaille parfois avec des élèves qui apprécient l'originalité, que j'aime beaucoup aussi. Il y a trois prises de sons successives non pro. Sans indication de tempo, je me suis pas mal focalisée sur la répétition rythmique. Ceci dit Moondog n'a pas vraiment d'affinité avec la musique répétitive (influencé par la musique amérindienne, le jazz, le classique).
