felt a swelling bodhisattva rage for all trans, nonbinary, queer people, for black, brown, indigenous people, and for the sake of all life in the universe. For all the tribes, lineages, traditions of indigenous peoples lost, the languages lost to colonialism, spiritual traditions, the ways of life, and erasure of nonbinary and queer people by hierachical power structures especially capitalism and the state.

i chose the Great Mother Kali, or Tara for the cover as the irrevocable expression of our primordial nature which cannot be erased and flows freely no matter what. She is the manifestation of our innate awakened nature, her patience and compassion for beings is unborn and indestructible like the expanse of space. All sentient beings are her children, so i felt it to be auspicious as this song at heart, is a plea to her that all beings be free from oppression, g3noc!d3, and persecution of being yourself. 


We live with the illusion of autonomous freedom but it is so vital to stand together against injustices towards the people beyond our comfort zones and personal pleasure. To move with each step and breath for the sake of all life in the universe and their happiness.
