Lazy Café #01

this piece begins [and ends] with tamboura and distinctly indian influences. However, despite that, it progresses into a soft rock instrumental via some un-western harmonies and instrumentation where both tabla & drum kit make appearances...hence the title...
the blackbird was recorded from my back yard.

Emergence

begins with a fifties-style jazz riff but along with organ I use kopuz & sanxian as well as electric saz to take the melodies...
a small surprise is in store for those who play to the end...
