Here's a new track I been producing from scratch in FL Studio over the last couple of days, you gotta at least listen until the 1st drop at 1:28 through it with the piano melody for it to sound decent and grab your attention ahah, I may not be great at mixing and mastering but I put a bit of work into the melodies because I been playing piano for most of my life so I know my melodies and chords ahah, especially the piano melody that starts on the first dance beat drop, I named it "magic piano sounds" because the piano melody is the main instrument you can hear and one of the main instruments/melodies I worked on the most out of everything in the song, let me know what you's think of it :) peace

A new progressive house track I made in FL Studio, probably not quite as good as the last track I made with the good piano melody in it on the drop called "Magic Piano Sounds" but this song still turned out ok I guess, even though I was hoping to make each track I produce better than the last one I uploaded so you's can actually hear progress but eh, even though this one's not as good as the last track I still thought it was worth the upload to see what people think of it, plus I've had to only use cheap $40 speakers and headphones to make my music lately, as my good studio monitor speakers were stolen a little while ago unfortunately so I'm saving up for more studio monitor speakers soon, anyways let me know what you's think of this song :) peace

Magic Times In Alternate Universes

This beat is a bit slow until halfway but gets much better after 2:20,
"Re-upload because last version was distorted cause i only used $40 speakers to mix and master it but today I just got new better speakers so this version has slightly less distortion"... 
(Murcs's 1st Symphony) The aim of making this song was to try creating the longest riffs/loops I could make for the melodies as well as making the song still sound half decent so the melodies don't sound too dragged out, long and too boring (I hope my songs not boring lol), but yea the main full loops in my song only repeat twice within the whole song. In music making, the longer you make the melody go for the harder, more complicated and more challenging it becomes to work with and adding more melodies to it etc, but I love a hard challenge when music producing, short loops are often just too simple to create for me lol.

It Doesn't Get Much More Melodic Than This (There's No Short Loops)

Here's a new song I just produced in FL Studio, like half of my songs it starts off a little boring but gets better towards the end, that's why it's called progressive house I guess lol, I called it "Lost Chords Finding Their Way Home" because it starts on an F note for the baseline, but then from like 1:13 to 2:13 throughout the song the chords keep changing, like theirs not really any structured melodic chord patterns throughout that part, but then between 1:58 to 2:35 ish is where you'll notice that I made the melody start to form a structured melodic pattern that basically repeats the same 8 bars or whatever sort of like how a normal song would, then the main drop kicks in around 2:35 ish and the start of the next 8 bars going back to an F note for the baseline at 2:42 (start of next 8 bars), but just to try out something unique with that drop, I decided to make that dance drop (with the loud chords part) kick in at an unusual timing, starting at the start of the last 4 bars out of that 8 bar build up part kicking in at around 2:35 through the song, instead of starting it on the NEXT starting point at the 1st 4 bars of the NEXT 8 bars which would've usually kicked in at around 2:42 through the song like the timing structure of how usual dance beats drop in (if you get what I mean lol), I did a different timing just to try something different that I haven't really done yet.

Lost Chords Finding Their Way Home

Just a different unique style genre track i made (from a melody I made up on piano a little while back), different to the usual prog house style genre I usually make, just thought I'd try something different with my own drum pattern combined with my own chords and arpeggio melodies I created, and no the drum beat is not a sampled loop, none of it is lol, I create all my loops, chords, melodies and arpeggios using single one shot samples and vst synths/presets, I sometimes use other people's vocals and give them credit but yea anyways let me know what you think of this one, I don't even know what to call this genre of music I made here ahah, if you know what style it is, please let me know so I can give it a genre title, cheers ahah

The notes of a chord played in rapid succession (following one after the other), either ascending or descending. Arpeggios on keyboard instruments may be called rolled chords.

The Sound Of Chords And Arpeggios Through The Night

Who says you can't remix a classical song into a dance song ahah some people say it's not possible, so I thought I'd try it to prove them wrong lol, I once saw a music tips motivation article and one of the music tips said something like "try to break the rules with music when producing, do something new!", so I've done that with this song! I always enjoyed the background music in the original sims game while building houses, so here's my remixed dance/progressive house version of a classical piano song from the sims game called "Jerry Martin - The Sims Buying Lumber (Bittersweet) (Murcs Remix)", the original sims soundtrack song in the game is by Jerry Martin, but I recreated the whole melody in the fl studio piano roll and changed a classical piece into a dance track just for something really different and unique and just for a challenge (cause if it doesn't challenge you it doesn't change you), but yea I had to go just by ear with the whole song playing each part over and over again until I was able to go by ear with each note from his classical melody, then I threw in a few extra notes of my own in a few parts and added some long chords and pads/strings in the background etc. with a dance beat turning a classical piece into a melodic dance piece. The part that was the most complicated about making this song was because of the original classical version must of been played and recorded without a metronome timer which a metronome would usually put the song timing in rhythm/in beat, so that was the hardest part trying to figure out what timings to place each individual note I had to place down on the piano roll in fl studio in order to make sure the melody notes matched with the timing of the dance beat, because the original version doesn't match with the dance beat at all even if I was to layer his track into my song (which I don't do, as I produce it all from scratch in the piano roll), but even if I made the full original classical version song the exact same tempo as my remixed version it'd still be all out of timing if I was to actually layer his classical piano track into fl studio with my song, because the original classical version keeps speeding up and slowing down at several different times throughout the song which makes it complicated to remix the melody even in the piano roll with the dance beat, because I have to try work out the correct timings to place each note myself, that's what took me the longest to make it ahah. Anyways let me know what you think of this unique sims classical dance remix idea I came up with (remixing a classical song into a dance song, you've probably never heard of that idea before ahah I love using unique ideas, not the same a everybody else), I get inspiration from other artist but I don't like copying other artists styles so much unless it's a remix I'm doing then I'll only copy some of their melody doing a remix and that's it (as it's a remix, not an original).

A new song I made from scratch from my own melody I made up on piano, then put it into FL studio and added more notes and produced it into a dance track using FL Studio. I called it "Finding Hidden Answers Within The Collective Conscious Of The Mind" because there's been many times where I'd pray for answers then shortly later I've came up with things like full on detailed theories that nobody could of possibly came up with because of how much in depth detail it had, and I came up with things like this theory of mine and other things partly from meditating to quieten the unwanted thoughts/voices in the mind so I can then start to hear the answers appear amongst the unwanted thoughts as they begin to lessen, then I sometimes start receiving some  of the answers to any deep questions I've prayed for earlier, then I found out like half of a year later somebody else had come up with basically my exact same theory in the same in depth detail like the same as my one, I was thinking how is this possible unless I heard that theory from the collective conscious and accessed that through the mind hearing it amongst the unwanted thoughts/voices after meditating so my mind was clear enough to hear these answers and interesting theories etc accessing it through my mind. One thing I know for sure is Prayer - Is to ask the universe/higher power questions, Meditation - Is to hear and receive answers, (also from the collective conscious). praying then getting deep into meditation (breathing that prana energy through the connected breathwork) eventually receiving answers often works for me. Prayer and meditation can actually raise your body's energetic vibrational frequency by 15Hz, positive thoughts raise it by 10Hz, negative thoughts lower it by -12Hz and junk food only lowers it by -7Hz which means negative thoughts are actually more damaging to the body than what junk food is, (Healthy human body frequency is between 62-78MHz, Disease starts as low as 58MHz, Cancer can appear as low as 42MHz, Death begins at 25MHz). Finding Hidden Answers Within The Collective Conscious Of The Mind

New song I just produced 100% from scratch, I wrote this whole melody myself by originally trying to freestyle play and record a long melody on the piano using my phone, I played a couple of wrong notes seem as it was just freestyle playing, but then I just imported all the notes into FL Studio, took out wrong notes and then added a few more notes and chords into it in a couple of parts just to make it more interesting, and I put a didgeridoo sound in there in a couple of parts briefly just because I see them instruments as healing

Changes To Enlightenment Is An Everlasting Journey [Very Melodic]

Instead of producing my usual progressive house genre, I thought I'd try combine progressive house with a more heavier genre, I'm not as good at making heavier genres but hope you like it :)
I named it "Is It Just Psychosis Or Something More Conscious" (kinda like messages getting sent to you from the universe or something) because when I was going through psychosis, amongst all the unwanted thoughts and voices, I'd hear guided messages and answers that could of came from the collective conscious, spirit guides or who knows where but they were guiding me to help get through psychosis, and when I heard some of them answers in my mind, I'd usually research them to see if they were true and they did happened to be true, Where was I hearing them from, like how did the answers in my head that I heard pop into my mind know that they were correct when I hadn't even researched them answers yet until after I had heard them, I still sometimes experience this even these days.  
anyways, hope you like my track, feedback would be great as I'm not usually that good at making heavier styles of music, only more melodic, more progressive house kind of stuff is what I'm best at because I'm a piano player and progressive house and trance styles have more melodies involved, more melody ideas you can add to it, in a heavy song you can't usually make it as melodic and still make it sound good, but I tried anyways ahah

the heavy parts of this track could represent the psychosis/ unwanted voices part, and the melodic more chilled out parts could represent the more conscious part of psychosis with the guided messages and answers heard etc

What I described earlier to do with what the song title means, it's like being stuck in a negative state of the collective conscious combined with the subconscious attacking the conscious hearing all these unwanted voices that aren't yours or not choosing to think, but amongst the unwanted voices, the subcoious is attacking the conscious because it's trying to push you to change as only change is everlasting leading you towards success with all the guided messages and answers heard which could sometimes even come from the subconscious amongst the unwanted voices from the subconscious hearing those answers sometimes in the past or even from a past life who knows, but you hear guided messages and answers especially after doing meditation to clear the mind a bit so you can hear those guided messages and answers clearer, but try not to overdo it and do to many things that raise your vibration in one single day, don't forget to take rests in between, because sometimes in the changing process of raising your vibration, sometimes forces can work against you the more you do, if you do too much in one day, them forces working against you may be too overwhelming to deal with, that's just my beliefs anyway based on certain things I've read or mostly from my personal experiences ahah yeah go ahead call me a psychotic nut lol ahah

A new track I just produced in FL Studio, i was going to name it emotion, but then decided to name it "movin'", I got the name idea based on my favorite einstein quote, anyways hope you enjoy the track I made.

Movin'

Seem as most mainstream tracks often repeat and usually have no longer than a 15 to 30 second melody loop they made (max), i thought I'd challenge myself and make a melody the length of a full song, just one whole single loop I made from scratch, the easiest way of doing that was by me just freestyling a made up on the spot piano recording not knowing what was going to come up next as i'm playing it, just feeling the piano keys, working out the different chords that match in that key as I play it on the spot, then produced it into a song on fl studio. I originally was going to either name it "patience is key to a symphony kinda melody" or "only change is everlasting" but then I wanted a different name so I googled another word for everlasting and it came up with "never-ending" so then I thought of "A Never-ending Melody" (kinda reminds me of the name "the never-ending story" but i didn't originally copy off that name idea at the time, i thought of the name a different way like explained above) but anyways but yea I named it never-ending melody because the melody just keeps on going and changing most of the way through barely repeating much which was the whole aim of making it, to make my own 1 single piano loop the full length of the song, instead of using several made repeating loops like you always hear everywhere, I wanted to make something unique that hasn't really been heard much in dance music before, well at least that was my aim anyways ahah, hope you like it, peace :)

Hey I'm John, (music name's Murcs) I produce mostly house/dance/trance music in FL Studio, I've played a lot of piano/keyboard when I was a child which helps me with producing also especially with creating the melodies, now i just got to focus on the mixing and mastering more, I usually prefer to make original tracks rather than remixing so that way all the melodies, bass etc is all my own creation and idea, and I never EVER use drum loops because I see that as cheating when it comes to producing music, it's a lack of talent, I don't even use the arpeggiate tool when using FL Studio, I make my arpeggio melodies completely from scratch just like how I make my drum loops from scratch because I feel more better and proud of my work (my music) I've produced knowing it's 100% created by me, because if I use drum loops its technically not fully produced by me, I just feel much more accomplished and proud of my work (my music) if I don't cheat by using pre sampled loops like drum loops etc. But anyways have a listen to my songs and enjoy...
