BLACKOUT is the story of a character who tells us a day in his life is like through the sounds in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
BLACKOUT strives and tries to illustrate with sounds, some of the most important tourist city points, describing and forming a new soundscape from a typical neighborhood in the suburbs to getting lost in the immense chaos car traffic in downtown area. Having as its main axis the history and literary story of our character.
BLACKOUT covers the very sounds of local transportation, listening to the subways loudspeakers, the dialogues of people and even the most important characters on current local radio.
BLACKOUT takes you on a tour of some notable tourist spots and even takes part in an illegal purchase of dollars in the center of the city. As well, he will also be able to enter unexpectedly in the unrepeatable Colon Theatre in Buenos Aires.
BLACKOUT tries to place us inside-head of our main character thanks to its binaural technique recordings for the sound effects, from the moment of preparing breakfast, to the critical moment of crossing an intersection of two avenues with cars outside. Under an umbrella, in an appointment with a dentist, listening to the radio or traveling by the Subway.
BLACKOUT tries to make the listener experience the sensation of "seeing" through the sounds.
