Rescued is a beat I produced for a planned song about a cat being rescued from being an abandoned and abused stray.  The beat really oozes both that sad and happy resolve feeling.  It was the tone I was looking for when thinking about doing a song about rescuing a kitty.   The song itself (which will release soon) is actually based off my own story where in the beginning, hoomans were very mean creatures to me - but then a hooman found me that changed all that.  And now im here, making music for other cats and hoomans alike! Enjoy!

Edgar Robert Guess Jr., who goes by the stage name “R.E.D.G.A (Righteous Ethical Diligence Guarantee Accomplishments)” & formerly known as Rage Hunta Red Muff, is a Fiction-Non-Fiction Hip Hop artist originally born in Manhattan, New York City. Edgar’s passion for music being strongly influenced by the Golden Boom Bap era of Hip Hop started out with writing his first verse of rhymes that were posted on his original Facebook page since February 3rd, 2016 as a way to volunteer for a former online associate’s video game wrestling project because he felt the original spoken lyrics could’ve been “better”. Even when it seemed like things were going towards the right path and slowly growing into an upcoming artist, Edgar really had no intention to make music around that time until he was in a group chat with his online associates who had encouraged him to take Hip Hop to a serious level. This is when he decided to record 2 songs on a recording studio app to show off what he got during the Spring of 2016 while he was a junior in high school. While putting up with summer school work that almost gotten him left back a grade, Edgar would eventually search on YouTube for music to keep his mind off of it and started bumping to the golden era of Boom Bap/Hip Hop albums during the Summer of 2016 which brought a stronger motivation to take it extremely more serious than when he recorded his earlier tracks at the time. He decided to drop a clean/educational freestyle on social media which encouraged him to re-open his Soundcloud account that he had used just search and listen to particular Hip Hop songs that were difficult to find at the time, then continued dropping freestyles in September 2016. During his senior year of high school which was one month away from his graduation, Edgar produced his first instrumental for MTHC's 2nd track "Dark Dayz" in May 2017 since it was apart of a class assignment but it turned out he decided to keep it saved in his Google Drive for personal purposes. In February 2017, Edgar won his School OVP Debate argument on Online Music Sharing due to turning his speech into poetry, bringing back the old school boomin' style of rap & showing them that lyricism is still around and matters in his book and that it's still breathing deep underground. Although his partner/opposition made great points about Online Music Sharing which could’ve gave him the win over the class audience, it was highly unexpected for the class students and the teacher to hear a speech that turned out to be a rap verse so likely it was more entertaining than from what his opposition had delivered but Edgar had successfully received his props and appreciation due to his reputation as an artist.
