Finding Myself Again

Songs I’ll Never Sing was written during Lockdown. This was a hugely creative period for me as for the first time in years I had little else to do but write songs. My songwriting, on a few occasions during this period got me in a bit of trouble with loved ones as the songs were sometimes a bit too honest and as my sister said – “cut a little too close to the bone”. I ended up with a whole heap of songs that I knew I could never play in public. This song is all about that! The song was recorded in Crookedwood studios in Ireland with Producer Dave Arkins, who played most of the instruments on the track.
