Joshua Duerksen, renowned by his DJ name DJ JD, was raised in the Mid-West and California, where his musical tastes were shaped by a diverse range of genres, spanning from Classic Rock and Country to Hip Hop and 90's Dance. He firmly believes that "Good music knows no genre."

Following his graduation from high school, JD enlisted in the United States Navy, dedicating a decade of service to his country. While stationed in Norfolk, Virginia, he had the privilege of meeting several influential DJs who became his mentors, imparting invaluable knowledge about the various aspects of DJing.

In between deployments, JD diligently honed his mixing and performance skills, gaining experience as a Club DJ, Mobile DJ, and Dive Bar DJ. After completing his naval service, he relocated to Idaho and founded a mobile disc jockey entertainment company, specializing in providing exceptional DJ services for weddings, birthday parties, and school dances.

In 2009, JD embarked on a new venture, joining XMiX DJ Music Pool as a video editor. In this role, he skillfully re-edited music videos to match the remixes produced by the talented editors and producers at XMiX, catering to the needs of Video DJs and facilitating seamless music video mixing. During his tenure, JD significantly enhanced his audio editing prowess and mastered the art of creating audio edits and remixes. These creations have been featured in nationally syndicated country mix shows and embraced worldwide, wherever country music finds appreciation.

Born in Gaston, Alabama, raised between the struggle and the South, Will B’s story reads like a movie. One that’s still being written. By the time most kids were learning their ABCs, he was learning survival. Basement floors, rats the size of house pets, and a home full of chaos didn’t break him they built him.

When his mom married, his stepdad, he considered him his true dad. He brought God into the picture. But Will? He was already running wild. By 7, sexual temptation had found him. By 12, he was stealing liquor and chasing a life that led him straight into addiction, violence, and pain.

Fast forward an 11x felon and 2½ years behind bars Will hit rock bottom and looked up. Locked in a cell, he prayed every day for YHWH to take the taste of drugs, alcohol, and destruction out of his mouth. He asked for one thing: a second chance.

And YHWH delivered.

Now sober, free, and walking with faith, Will B’s  music he’s testifys through pain, turning scars into stories and stories into songs. Every bar hits and carries truth, testimony, and hope for anyone fighting their demons.

I’m a guy from Kinna, born in 1973, and I’ve loved music for as long as I can remember. I picked up playing at 17 and spent the 90s in a local garage band, having a lot of fun making music with friends.
