Cantares is to sing and this song is poetry from the past generation.

"Todo pasa y todo queda"
Everything goes and everything stays. 
"Camino" means road, I am on my path. "Nunca perseguí la gloria" I don't want to pursue to glory, I just want to follow el camino de la luz (the path of light). These lines echo my thoughts.

I was introduced to this song during a jam session.
For every line, I spent 40-60 minutes perfecting the phrasing and pronunciation. I would like to say, I tried. Not my first time singing in Spanish but first time doing it solo.
