Pan’s Serenade – A Melody of Love and Longing 🎶🌿

Deep within an ancient forest, where sunlight weaves through the trees and the earth pulses with life, Pan sits in quiet solitude, listening. The wind hums through the branches, and his fingers gently touch the pipes. The first notes emerge—soft, uncertain, like an echo of a distant memory.

But peace does not last. A thought, a vision—Syrinx. His beloved, lost forever among the reeds. A fire awakens in his heart, and before he realizes it, he is already moving. He runs through the forest, his footsteps becoming rhythm, his breath a melody. His pipes sing, searching, calling.

I have written many songs about the woman I love, good times, hard times and great times. One aspect I haven't yet touched on is the fact that her maiden name is Nyx, her last name. As the years went by and I really got to know her I realized she was more than a few steps up in all ways from normal (mortal) women. I decided to see what I could learn about her name and I was not surprised at all. 
In Greek mythology Nyx is the goddess and personification of the night.[4] In Hesiod's Theogony, she is the offspring of Chaos, and the mother of Aether and Hemera (Day) by Erebus (Darkness).
In the works of poets and playwrights, she lives at the ends of the Earth, and is often described as a black-robed goddess who drives through the sky in a chariot pulled by horses. In the Iliad, Homer relates that even Zeus fears to displease her.
I feel you Zeus... But when she's happy? I feel the love of a goddess.

I have tried to sing different genres like country,  folk,  metal,  alternative rock,  hard rock... but since i write my own songs I'm usually at a loss as to what genre they should be labeled with.  I don't make beats or play an instrument, I find a beat or instrumental that i like and i write a song or just sing whatever comes to mind, to conform to the instrumental. Daniël Majoor has been fascinated by electronic music since he was very young. As a child he listened to artists like Vangelis, Jean Michel Jarre, OMD and everything that came close to that. With keyboards and borrowed synthesizers he let himself be inspired by his idols, while at the same time he learned to create his own sounds. Later he was able to slowly but surely put together his own studio and make his childhood dream come true.

Daniël has no musical education and makes music by ear and feeling. He does not see himself as a musician, but more as a "painter with sound". His music is often theme-oriented and has a broad spectrum.
