Back in March we had the pleasure of playing at the institution that is Musicroom Melbourne. Such a beautiful space that felt like home as soon as you step inside. I thought it best to lay down an hour of Soulful House in the first half, followed by an hour or Italo, Hi NRG and 80's gems.

Formerly known as ‘Dance Motif’, this project marks a new chapter from an artist who’s spent over 15 years slipping between a constellation of aliases, frequencies, and cities — never quite still, never fully visible. 

In parallel worlds, they have worked flying planes and driving trains — a fitting metaphor for a sound that shifts between propulsion, atmosphere and global influences. Now, under the banner of Transit Systems, there’s a renewed focus: refining the sound, launching a new label to sit alongside the existing Extended Family, and leaning further into collaboration and community.

Whether appearing solo or as part of projects like Soulm8s & DD Dolce, the music remains rooted in a shared rhythm and connection. This mix offers a glimpse into the journey so far — and the tracks still ahead. Music, like transit, is less about arrival than connection: between places, between people, between moments that vanish before you can name them.
