I had the time of my life in the booth! After such a long time I was allowed to play for a festivalcrowd again - such a lovely one as well <3
I can hear you cheer, I can hear you talk and "schnatter", I can hear you being happy, because we are finally back together after this shitty isolated time. 
I missed you so much!

The last 45 minutes I burned all the closingtracks, because I did not know how long Lola, who played after me, will be stuck in traffic. So here we go: burn with me Nation :)

And what closing track makes more sense than the safety dance these days?

Ende Juli 2023 - auf dem Acker des Nation of Gondwana Festivals - haben wir ab Mitternacht des zweiten Festivaltags den "Bei Birke" Floor übernommen und zu dritt die musikalische Reise in den frühen Morgen gestaltet. Vor uns ging es sehr schnell zu und um die Tanzenden in ihrem Beat weitergrooven zu lassen, stiegen wir hier ein und fuhren das Tempo langsam runter - in ein wunderschönes Morgengrauen. Dort angekommen, breiteten wir euch einen sehr groovigen Klangteppich aus, voller kleiner Details und mit viel Platz zum Verlustiggehen. Wir freuen uns sehr, dass wir - Erika, Mareena und Resom - euch dorthin begleiten konnten. Viel Spass beim Nachhören!  Danke Team "Bei Birke" und überhaupt an die "Nation of Gondwana" für den praktischen Einblick in eine gelebte Utopie.

At the end of July 2023, on the field of the Nation of Gondwana Festival – in the middle of the night of the second day, we were allowed to take over the musical design of the "Bei Birke" floor and start a journey into the morning with those present. Before we took over it was quite fast, so to let the dancers groove on in their beat, we stepped in and slowly brought down the tempo, into a beautiful dawn. Once there, we spread you a very groovy sound carpet, full of small details and with so much space to get lost. We are very happy that we - Erika, Mareena and Resom - could accompany you there. Have fun listening! Thank you team "Bei Birke" and in general to the "Nation of Gondwana" for the practical insight into a lived utopia.

Bio: Fooliks Karriere begann auf der anderen Seite des DJ Pults. Auf dem Dancefloor. Als Raver. Sowieso ist er viel mehr als nur DJ. Eher der 360°-Techno-Prototyp. Ladenleitung, Artistcare, Stage-Management, Bühnenbau, Foolik hat schon so ziemlich alles gemacht. Doch was sich durchzieht, ist das Auflegen. Erst sieben Jahre Resident im Sisyphos, seit 2019 schießlich im Kater Blau, wo er mit seiner eigenen Reihe Fool and the Gang regelmäßig sein eigenes Programm gestaltet. Wie sich das anhört? “Judith van Waterkant was born in the beautiful baltic sea area and crashed into her fathers vinyl collection in a glas vitrine while dancing along with the record "Life is Life" at the tender age of 3. "Nananananaaa"!
Since then she’s not only gained a couple dangerous looking scars, which would be visible if she shaved her head, and gotten prepared to join in with the fights in the streets of Rostock, she’s also kept her deep passion of music with her, always on her mind. At the age of 14, she had a crush on her guitar teacher and has deeply loved music since that time, from every pore of her skin, which became even clearer to her later when she found herself in a massage circle where everybody was humming “Give Peace a Chance” in order to alleviate the difficulties and challenges of puberty. However, no one was supposed to find out about that. “If I die today, I’ll die happy” was her boozy attitude back then.
