Now some have been thinking about this problem for quite some time
But it gets bigger while we´ve been thinking
and it´s out of control like a rolling stone
but deep down we all know
we gotta go to our home.
I´m looking at the leaves in the trees and it´s in 3d
and the shadows they cast on the ground is 2d
and I soften my eyes and the shadows grow dimensions
like a tree in an organic city,
Where we belong and if we don´t listen to them we´re as good as gone
and maybe changing our nature´s too close to the bone
Gotta come this way 
This bridge ain´t here to stay
The wind in my face trying to blindly read me like braille
Then it stopped and took a breath
and looked me in the eye
then the tail of the the wind speeds away
with a story about where we belong
The wind breathing through trees
as the rain swept down to embrace the ground
where birds alighted quickly like an explosion
and trace instructions
about the road to where we belong
Where we belong and if we don´t listen to them we´re as good as gone
and maybe changing our nature´s too close to the bone
Gotta come this way 
This bridge ain´t here to stay
Clouds drifting in the sky like a stream of consciousness
On the horizon is growing a billowing darkness
the hour is approaching
To get back to where we belong
The wind is trying to blow sunbeams away but it can´t
like immovable, invisible columns trying to
shine their light on their lonely message
about where we belong.

and maybe changing our nature´s too close to the bone

I can feel the angles of the city
piercing my body and cutting my mind
