We finish this hour's long show with some great poetry and music from the local 'Open Mic' night.
Unfortunately, we start with some discussion about a brutal plan to demolish shops in East Salford and replace with 10 tower blocks of new apartments. Yes, then! It's being sold as a 'Green' plan, with grass and flowers, walkways and pavement cafes. Did we mention the 10 blocks?
It's enough to make you want to write a poem about it

JAM stands for 'Jane and Mike' and you'll not just find them on Mixcloud but also Youtube and various websites and Blogs. It's modern songs, (in a folk idiom), radio shows in a 'Richard and Judy' idiot, and songs like 'Dit Dit Dit', (which, as we all know, stands for S.O.S. - good enough for The Titanic. Who knows, Salford might hit an iceberg, soon).
