80's Gen X New Waver Mobile Disco/Club Spinner in High School & College; Silicon Valley CA Product Engineering Executive/Solid State Drive Geek; Spent most of my allowances on extended, remixes and hard to find esoteric 12" dance vinyl records, used to frequent record stores in SF Bay Area (Amoeba, Rasputins, Tower, Record Factory, Star, etc.) on weekends and after class.  Still love to visit record stores & dig through bins of used records when i go on business trips. Recorded 100's of mixed tapes for classmates/friends and hours & hours in front of the turntables. Considered as an artist in constant evolution, Alec is one of the best brazillian electronic music producers with more releases abroad.

The constant search for perfection in his creations have brought the tracks included on national and international compilations of great labels. 

Productions and remixes by Alec Araujo are found in the cases and tracklistings of established artists in the world electronic scene. With many productions spread all over Brazil and in the world, Alec is pointed as a good professional either from the public’s point of view or other artists.

As a result of all his work as a producer, he became one of the most important artist in the south of Brazil and one of the most promising producers of the country, playing in clubs like Warung and D-Edge.

The productions has a lot of supports from known djs/producers such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Paul Oakenfould, Guy Mantzur, Darin Epsilon, Pole Folder and many others.

His rmxs of  “Neon Lights” and “Vitamin” from Kraftwerk received big support of national and world-wide djs, including support of Wolfgang Fluer, Kraftwerk former. He said: “I love your rmxs of Neon Lights". Also included Alec in his book Ï Was A Robot”.


His monthly show on Frisky Radio called Fenix, has the same name as his party in Brazil, and has an important point to inform the public, new talent and producers of electronic music in Brazil and the world.  He is resident DJ on Progression, Progressive House project from D-Edge Club.

An actual real life person with feelings. No AI involved.  Walter the Dead is a project put together by Eric Smith to try and capture his favourite 80s sounds. So far this is the only track released. Depending on if anyone listens to it more will come.

I was a founder member of the Karmatosed Sound System that ran a legendary night called Decompression around Hertfordshire and London in the 1990’s. I played out mostly techno but also Jungle / D&B, breaks and chill out stuff. I started making beats with a best mate on a knackered Atari, cubase v1.5 and some basic hardware and we released one techno / breakbeat/ proto drum and bass 12’ as Aengen which got airplay from Carl Cox and Laurent Garnier amongst others. This was probably my 15 minutes of fame and we did a number of live sets at the time in and around London and got interest from the music press at the time. After our club night burnt to the ground, literally, I moved to Leeds and did my own thing releasing a few CD’s through local record shops in Leeds. In recent times I've rediscovered DJing, mainly in Leeds but also playing at small festivals across the country. SINCERE IMPOSTER writes, performs and/or produces a curious mixture of New Wave, Dance, EDM, Folk Rock, Metal, Art Pop, Electro, Dreamwave & Experimental World Pop. Collectively, it's a genre known as QUIRKPOP --- Music that makes you say, "What the hell is this?"

The band currently consists of two members, both living within the same body, sharing a similar existence. They identify as Danielle & Dave. They are both psychologically and musically confused. However, both are extremely and unapologetically sincere. 

Influences include Weird Al, Nathan Fielder, David Lynch, Rosalia, Monatik, Atarashii Gakko!, Rammstein, T-Pain and T-Swift. Their favorite inventions are the vacuum and the peach pitter. Their father is simply known as Vessel... who may be an entity or a god.
