Pretend It’s Raining

Through a long pandemic, we wrote this song-and many others-to aid in dealing with the grief of loss. Loss of people, strained or breaking relations, and our connections to locations and places, and these notes continue to  help us celebrate life, while providing unique paths to forgiveness and self-care. 

It's a song the radical love and transformation after heartbreak, that allows our grief to travel through our very essence. Utilizing the plentiful small moments, we create hope and joy from the aforementioned grief, and releasing all that pure energy back into the universe, divine.

This song features a talented ensemble of musical artists who come together to bring you this message. Please celebrate the our radical with us and, Bassist - Ian de Souza, Violist - Vee-Kai, mixed by Jean Martin, produced by Murr, lyrics and melodies by ROSINA.

Rico is a self-taught pianist, guitarist and drummer, creating and performing music since his teen years. Also a musicologist and a huge Frank Zappa buff, but first of all a passionated electronic music producer and performer. His DJ debut came at the age of 13 and in 2007. his first single came out on Get Physical. Rico has been putting out music regularly since 2009., both digital and vinyl. His catalogue includes releases on prestigious labels like Cocoon, Mothership (Dirtybird), Peppermint Jam, Danza Macabra, Re:vibe, Harthouse, Plastic City i dr.

Recently, most of Rico's new music can be found on Exhibition, the label he founded in 2019.
